Lovely welcome, the property is a bit tired, but full of character inside and the lovely gardens. The breakfast was ok, not quite as described. Unfortunately about 20 mins before our check out noisy drill / DIY started right outside opposite or room, lucky we were not staying longer!! And then at 11am the maid knocked and came into our room as we were almost ready to leave…. These were a real put off pressure ☹️

This place was a hidden gem, so adorable. Room was cute but there were really bad stains all over the carpet which was off putting. Restaurant was adorable but had a very musty smell inside. Loved eating in the atrium and garden area. Overall a comfortable 1 night stay. I would just recommend replacing the carpets and doing some deeper cleaning in the restaurant/bar.

Wow, what a hidden gem, great place, wonderful gardens, lovely food and they even kept us stay and watch the football after they were closed (a late match), couldn’t ask for more. Stunning surroundings.

Little gem with easy access to Lymington and the new Forrest . The staff were very friendly and helpful the food was good , plenty of off street parking and the property had a unique feel , with the river passing through the property with small bridges passing over the various water ways . Loved it

Lovely setting and good stay with great staff. Few things would have made it excellent. 1.dont send me an email telling me i could have got a better deal booking direct before I have even arrived, I cant do anything about it at that point and so I was annoyed , send it to me after I've had a great stay to encourage me to rebook. 2. Hearing music from the bar at 7:30 am wasnt the most relaxing start to my stay. 3. Better signpost to the bigger car park would be really helpful if you are coming in from Lymington.

The Old Mill is a very comfortable “pub with rooms” where we’ve been before. The room was comfortable with a good bed and shower and breakfast both days and dinner was good! The grounds are a joy to sit in and have a drink in the afternoon and evening! Good value for money!

Lovely hotel/restaurant with plenty of outside & inside seating and good food. Staff were very helpful and polite. We stayed for 1 night, the room was comfortable, good feature was a mini fridge which had a bottle of milk for the tea/coffee, Not the usual capsules which are never enough. A large fan was also provided that was quiet enough to leave on overnight.

Our third or fourth stay here. We love the laid back feel of this pub with rooms and love the quality of the room fixtures and furnishings; we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the rooms which exceeds expectations on face value of the pub itself. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is great.

The property was a great location close to the harbour and forest. Set near a river the evenings were perfect sitting out having a drink. The rooms are located away from the restaurant/pub so it is good when she wants to go to bed. Had a really nice day. We will definitely come back.

This is a beautifully situated old mill on a gentle stream with gorgeous grounds. Idyllic. Just outside Lymington but a short 8 minute drive into town or to the ferry. Dinner was good with excellent service. Nice room, comfy beds, good bathroom. We were there on the hottest day of the year so it was very hot in the room but a fan was provided which helped.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old Mill. Good location as we were planning to catch the ferry from Lymington. Nice gardens. Very helpful staff especially Yan who was knowledgeable about the wines. Very comfortable bed and evening meals were delicious. Definitely would recommend for a relaxing stay
