I deeply regret staying at this place. Nothing here suggests they care about the guest experience. The bungalows are basic and the decor is terrible—it feels like being inside a cheap massage shop. There is lots of rubbish in the lagoon behind the bungalows and next to the beach that they dont pick up.
Then there’s the restaurant. It takes effort to serve the worst meal I’ve ever had in all of Asia. Considering Thailand has some of the best cuisine in the world, this was incredibly disappointing and wildly overpriced. I don't mind paying more for comfort and great food, but absolutely no thought went into this meal. Street food in Thailand is far tastier.
As for the staff, bless them, but only one girl speaks any English. You constantly have to chase them down to get served because they have no initiative. When I arrived with two other people at 2:00 PM, all the sunbeds were wet and covered in sand. It never even occurred to them to clean up for arriving guests.
The breakfast screams CHEAP. They give you the cheapest white toast bread, no whole wheat, no organic, or brown bread... everything is cooked with sunflower oil... they only offer greasy eggs, no poached or boiled; the coffee is instant when they have a coffee shop in place, so it would have been easy for them to offer good coffee to start your day.
There is nothing special about this resort. I later moved to a place that cost half the price, and the service and interior design were ten times better.
AVOID.
