I’ve been coming with with various family and friends for years, when this was the ace hotel, this was our staycation spot. This particular weekend I also ran into my aunt and her friends from out of town. What a coincidence.
The front desk had a dispenser of different drinks throughout the day. After dinner I had a cup in my hand and the extremely nice lady at the front told me it was fine to fill it up when I asked. “ not an issue “. So I did it once more in another flavor while passing by to meet my family in the restaurant connected. Not an issue once again.
Had I known they were going to authorize a charge of $70 without my acknowledgment or permission, itemized as (4) Paloma’s , I would have just gotten a drink at the bar. How are they charging me for 4 drinks , when I had two, out of a complimentary cooler ? When trying to resolve this issue, the staff became irritable and extremely hard to work with, not letting me know when the GM would be in to talk about this. After speaking to Jeremy and him hanging up on me, and another manager who wouldn’t identify themself today, I’ve decided to just air out this issue here. I have both phone recordings as well.
Everyone else was extremely welcoming, the bartenders by the pool, the front desk people, the restaurant, all amazing experiences. But the customer service skills within your management team is lacking. Specifically the downstairs bar manager that charged me $70 unknowingly , and the management team I tried to come to a
