Travelers: Do not fall for the pictures! These rooms are smoke-filled, dirt-filled, moldy, broke down, and uninhabitable. I am unsure how they're not shut down. The stairs are rusting and slanted as well. Even the lobby where you check in is absolutely disgusting. I was traveling from out of town and not many options available due to a weekend-long event occurring in town. When I stepped in the room, the air was so heavy, I couldn't breathe. My lungs hurt for hours after just being in the room for 20 seconds. The furniture was broke down and had dirt and mold build up. The carpet was stained with black rings everywhere, had insect-feces embedded in it along with what must have been cigarette ashes. The bedding was black! (A huge red flag for hotels - doesnt show how dirty it is). I immediately requested to check out, due to the severe health and safety hazard, but they refused to refund my money under a "no cancelations policy." They insisted on showing me a different "brand new" room, which was only slightly cleaner. I still couldn't breathe in it. The perfumes used to attempt to cover the horrible smells of smoke and uncleanliness made it even worse. This place needs to be shut down. *I am far from a fancy person, and I have no qualms staying in a low-quality room. But this was far beyond that and a serious health and safety risk.* I ended up having to stay an hour outside of town, but I don't even care at that point. Someone needs to shut this place down.
