It was a lovely surprise this accommodation. It is family owned for 70years and 3rd generation now! The room was very comfortable with ensuite and great shower & bed! Breakfast was great! Lovely Irish breakfast with all the trimmings. No lift so need to do stairs.

Roomy, comfortable, clean and great value

Lovely accommodation that is modernised and comfortable. Great bed, great shower, spacious room. Easy checkin and fabulous home cooked breakfast. Central location and no noise at all from street- very quiet! Definitely booked here for any need in or around Monaghan.

Brilliant accommodation

Stayed at Ashleigh B&B overnight as we were at a family wedding in the area. Very clean & comfortable accommodation, ideal for our stay in Monaghan. Friendly efficient staff, lovely breakfast. Highly recommend if in the area. On street parking available just outside the guest house and a larger parkng area available nearby which charges €1 per day.

As a traveling salesperson, this was a great find. offering good value for money. Clean room and the bed was better then most of the hotels I have stayed in for many years. I will be using Ashleigh Guest House again on my visits to the area.

Trudy the hostess is wonderful. We had a hard time connecting to wifi from our room and she worked until we had a strong and steady signal. The room was clean and comfortable- the ensuite fitted with everything you need. Breakfast is fantastic with lots of hot tea or coffee. Highly recommend

Trudi is an excellent hostess. We were given a warm welcome and the room was modern & the beds provided us with a brilliant nights rest. Breakfast would easily compete with any hotel that we’ve stayed in prior. Ashleigh house felt like a home away from home and we will definitely be coming back again in the future.
