We loved the welcoming atmosphere of this true bed and breakfast. We felt like we were living in someone's home. Loredana is an amazing baker and the cakes, pastries and cookies were amazing. Location was central and close to most historic sights, markets and Shopping. Would definitely recommend.

We were welcomed by a very friendly lady who showed us around and very kindly helped us with our bags. She gave us a great recommendation for dinner. The owner was also very kind and the breakfast was a big spread and very good. The room was very comfortable and clean. It has a fridge and a kettle. The building is next to a very nice park and a supermarket and just a few minutes walk into the old city! The owner hot up at 6 am to help us with our luggage and the taxi to go to the airport. Very kind.

First of all we were treated by the wonderful host who has been nothing but helpful. The place is on the 2nd floor of an old building, feels weird at first sight, there’s huge castle doors which I had no idea how to open but we were greeted at the entrance, there’s a lift to help with luggage. The BnB floor is charming, clean and well maintained, just like the room we rented. No fluff here but pretty comfortable beds which has been an issue often in our other stays. The building is well located, a short distance walk to pretty much anything you might need, a grocery and a nice park right across the street. Street parking was easy to find within a few meters from the entrance any time of the day. Again, the host was incredibly welcoming to us and the kids, made us feel at home!

Unfortunately our stay was very disappointing. The staff were rude, abrupt and condescending. As you walk into the property it is old and rundown. you go through a set of old doors once you have a code and you walk through a filthy area where motorbikes are stored then past a filthy area full of garbage and construction debris then in our case up 5 fights of stairs to our room. The day of our arrival we received messages as to what time we are coming as they close at 1900 hrs. we landed after that time and based on the messages received we were not certain until we landed if someone would be around to let us in. Every time we asked for something it was via what's app and usually the responses were rude. ONE evening we asked for toilet paper as we did not have enough till morning and we were asked if it could wait till morning no one was on site. we have the messages!! Finally after we asked if we could get some on our own a staff member told us where we could find some. We had issues getting towels as well. As we were leaving early we asked where to leave the keys and the answer was a long lecture about how if we used their lift we would not have issues. The lift was terrible and we did know how to use it. These are just some of our experiences.

Nice stay.

We were able to check in a bit early, which was great. The coffee shop across the street was excellent for morning cappuccino and evening gelato. We stayed just one night, so it was easy to find and great location next to a lovely park. The bed was a bit too firm for my husband, but great for me.

insbesondere die Padrona sowie Bernadetta waren super nett und haben uns unterstützt bei Planung, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Man muss unbedingt vorher Bescheid sagen , wenn man bei der Anreise vor der Tür steht, damit einem mit dem Aufzug geholfen werden kann - Frühstück war Liebevoll gerichtet

Location was excellent. The park beside the hotel was very beautiful and had great views of Mount Etna. The building itself was dated but had loads of character. I would say the same about the rooms. Bathroom was clean and well appointed. There was a small balcony area too. There is a larger public area too where you can eat breakfast. Given it is a busy intersection I expected the room to be noisy but with the window closed it was silent. AC was decent too so no need to keep the window open. While the reception is not always staffed the owner was incredibly responsive on WhatsApp. Overall we were deciding between staying at a fancier hotel a bit further out or here. I think we made the right choice. It was a short walk to town and there was so much around.
