We had a pleasant two-night stay at Cottage #1. Check-in was smooth with the lockbox system, and the location is convenient for exploring the east side of Algonquin Park. That said, the facilities are showing their age, and the price feels high for the condition. The bedding had a musty smell, which took away from the comfort. Overall it doesn't quite feel like a professionally run operation. Worth considering if you value location and don't mind rustic, but set your expectations accordingly.

A hotel that requires self check-in. Although it got water bike, it was full of water (or rain?). Fortunately, after flipping over and drain the water, it still works

Room was clean. Staff were ok but not present so not overly helpful. Not like the pictures online. And can't really use the amenities grass is overgrown.

Whilst our booking said check in was until 7 when we arrived the place was shut. We had no instructions for checking in and we tried to call the number several times before getting through. There are no amenities, the nearest restaurant is 10 minutes away. The room itself was clean and well maintained with a fridge coffee maker and a kettle which was good

Amazing cottage

We loved our stay here. The cottage was clean, cozy and beautiful! Thank you so much.

Very prompt replies from managers of the property, and the unit was clean, but nothing like what I expected from the online pics. The property is tired, is on the side of the road, not that close to water, and much over priced. The window air conditioner barely works. and is not suitable to support the entire cottage. The cottage, and grounds were also full of pesky ants. I really wanted to like the place because it is in such a beautiful area, but unfortunately, I won’t be returning to this property.

Clean room, it was a "no contact" check-in, check-out. It was mostly peaceful as we were the only ones at lodge for 2 of the 3 nights. The keypad entry to front entrance and to room made me and my kids feel safe. Overall great experience!

This was a great stay! The area is beautiful and quiet, the room was comfortable and quiet :) Food and shopping was about a 10-15min drive up the road and easy to locate. I forgot a box of rings after check out and staff promptly contacted me to inform me of this so I could get them which was greatly appreciated as I live 3.5hrs away from the stay! Would definitely stay again if I was ever in the area :)

I appreciated getting a text message with our room pass code so that we could check in/out whenever we needed. The beds and linens were very clean and it was quiet at night. Thank you for a great stay!
