I stayed here for one night to be closer to the airport before an early flight. Check-in was smooth, and the room itself was surprisingly decent and clean — nothing fancy, but fine for a quick overnight.
The problem was the basics. There were no toiletries, no towels, not even a washcloth in the room. I called the front desk at least 20 times before someone finally picked up. When they did, their response was, “I think there’s some up here.” So after showering, I had to get dressed still wet and go to the desk, only to be handed an old, torn, dingy towel that looked like it had already been used.
For nearly $70, that’s unacceptable. The room should have been stocked, and guests should never be handed something that looks unclean. Honestly, the stay felt like it was worth maybe $40 at best. Motel 6 markets itself on affordability, but even at that, the bare minimum should be working phones, stocked rooms, and clean towels.
