6/10 Buena

The staff was eager to please, the bed was comfortable, the bed and bathroom linens were very nice, and the area was surprisingly quiet. The building is pretty decrepit, and the room was snug but clean and warm.

The staff were very prompt to fix any issues as they arrived. We were in the area for a family function and had 4 rooms. Although daily housekeeping had to be requested, the staff were always keen to help replenish anything we needed. Overall a good place

This motel appears to be a one man show resulting in limited office hours. The room was clean and comfortable.

Checking in went smoothly. Parking was tight. Location was convenient. Several trains travel through across the highway and were barely noticeable. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. AC worked. Mostly upgraded but not quite complete. No breakfast.

The room was cheap enough and had basics covered. Was hard to check in and staff not on site. The room I stayed in needs repair.

Sundown Motel

A convenient, clean establishment. Perfect for a one or two nights stay and a surprisingly good alternative to the big chains.

4/10 Regular

When we arrived, we were given the keys and entered a room that wasn’t cleaned and the bedding was in disarray. The manager was very apologetic, but it started our experience off on a not so nice foot. He then went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and we really enjoyed our time in our room. It ended up being a great place to stay and we will for sure come back when we visit the spa again. Thanks! Also… TB’s is such an incredible place to eat right around the corner from the Sundown! 💛
