Especially compared to other “hotels” in Brazil, this hotel is relatively pricey—but it is definitely worth the cost. I say hotel in quotes, because this place feels more like a mini resort than a hotel.
The best aspect of this hotel is the staff. Incredibly attentive and polite. They anticipate needs surprisingly well. For example, it started to rain lightly one afternoon, and we returned to our room to find an umbrella hanging on the door.
The hotel is within an attractive walled enclosure, which is welcome in Brazil. You feel safe, comfortable, and free to lounge around the pool relaxed and safe. The decor is bright, attractive, and tasteful.
The rooms are quite small, which is the only reason I gave the room comfort a 4 instead of 5. That said, the rooms are quite clean, well appointed, and upscale, with very comfortable beds.
The food choice for dinner and lunch is limited, but the quality was excellent—and I had the best Caipirinha of our entire trip (which included the Hilton on Copa)!
