Another good stay at Peebles Hydro with friendly reception and other staff. A good choice of food at breakfast. Onsite parking is a bonus! I didn’t use the spa facilities this visit but in the past they have a well maintained big pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna which can get busy at peak times.

Parking was terrible, I appreciate that hotel was busy but there's not enough parking and it would benefit from a strict one way system. Restaurant staff were very prompt and attentive especially in the morning, food quality was good. The room was spacious but a bit tired and stains on the blind when unrolled.

I really enjoyed my stay. All staff members from all departments were friendly . As a former housekeeper I found dust on top of the wardrobe and on top of the round mirror but once a housekeeper ..... I highly recommend Peebles Hydro for a good happy place to stay.

My wife and I have just returned home after an excellent 4-night stay at the Peebles Hydro. It was our first visit and will not be our last. The hotel is clearly loved by the caring staff, who also care about their guests. It shows as soon a you arrive to your leaving and this is true from reception, room servicing, bar and restaurant staff and cheffing. The hotel has thankfully has retained an old-world charm and appearance (early 19th Century) and it works well so deserves to thrive in our current uncertain times.

From check-in to check-out the staff and amenities were exactly what we needed. Staff were always very friendly and willing to help. Breakfast was delicious and everything you needed to start your day. The pool, steam room, and sauna were excellent for every day use. It was always easy to find parking. We would absolutely come back again, they made our honeymoon feel special. And the town itself was a lovely, welcoming and quiet vacation spot.

Very posh hotel. We loved our stay. We would love to come back for a longer stay and explore the activities which were available. Due to our short stay we could not explore them. Staff were very nice and cordial. There’s lot of parking spaces available. Breakfast was just perfect.

My second visit to Peebles Hydro. Lovely grounds surrounding Hydro. It is comfortable and clean. Staff all pleasant and helpful. Good breakfast, but make sure you go early as things were running out. Altogether a lovely stay. Will be back. Thanks.

There was no AC which is my main thing, it's getting too hot for not having AC, also the amenities close way to early like pool 730pm last entry or breakfast 10am. Also the upkeep, everything too noisy too creeky, impossible to sleep no insulation for noise at all. Overpriced Breakfast was good though and the personnel very nice

Good service and great views. Food was excellent. Extensive grounds. The only let down was the very firm, clearly old, small double bed.

Although late arriving we received a warm & efficient welcome. Our room (family for 3 people) was immaculate and we greeted the day with stunning views and a fabulous breakfast .. After a day in Edinburgh (50 minute drive) we returned to use the pool, sauna & steam room, before a quick change and dinner in Millers bar - food was great & staff were very friendly and helpful. Every single member of staff were smiling, professional and keen to help making for a very relaxing break.. Thank you - we will be back …
