Hidden oasis in an interesting city off the path

Taroudant isn't an obvious must for a short trip to Morocco, but that's what we liked about it. It's a walled city with a maze of streets and alleys that played an important role in the history of the country, as it was once capital of the Saadians. Today you'll enjoy the souks and the flavor of a Moroccan city that's not as touristic as Marrakech or Essaouira. The hotel is hidden away behind an unobtrusive door, and includes an open air swimming pool and dining area. Staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms beautiful.

Lovely stay in Taroudannt!

Perfectly located in the center of the medina. Parking right in front. Very charming and lovely, probably the best accommodation we had in Marocco,

Eten was uitstekend.

Gorgeous hotel, perfect for families

We spent an amazing week at Palais Oumensour. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and went out of their way to arrange anything we needed for our one year old toddler - nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is beautifully designed and decorated, a lovely place to hang out and conveniently situated in the centre of Taroudant. We ate in their restaurant every night and found the food good and varied, with a wide selection of drinks. They were also able to arrange reasonably priced transfers to/from Agadir airport and a hire car with child seat when we wanted to explore the surrounding area.

Family style service and greeting in the Medina

Great hotel with excellent service. The photos on the website don't do justice to the building and the rooms it is way better than it looks. We were there for Christmas night and the hotel had a group of local lady singing and playing instruments all evening it was great. Little bit hard to find in the Medina but it is worth the search!

A Great Place Right in the Center of the Medina

Beautiful Riad right in the Medina. We were welcomed with mint tea and friendly hosts. Our room was large and very comfortable. The garden area was so relaxing and well maintained. We enjoyed wonderful dinners by the pool and afternoon teas in the cabanas. Would definitely recommend.
