We were not able to stay here, when we arrived the hotel transferred us to a sister hotel that we did not book nor authorized and it was a "not up to our standards" hotel called CityState Hotel. This placed us farther away from Robinson's and a not so safe area. The room was not clean, the refrigerator in the mini bar did not work and was full of rust, Breakfast was embarrassing with minimal edible food like hot dogs, noodles and eggs without any vegetables, we paid for daily breakfast however we were required to obtain a coupon every morning at the front desk. It was inconvenient and we had to wait for this breakfast coupon when there were guests at the front desk, the AC/Heat did not work properly, the Wi-Fi did not work. This was a BAIT and SWITCH , nothing short of Fraud !!!

Extremely unpleasant
I booked a total of twelve guests for 5 nights. The service was good but there was this instance when they didn’t follow though with their commitments and give problems to the Guests at the last minute. I talked with the Morning reception desk on November 2 and assured us that when we can leave the luggage at the hotel when we leave for our Boracay trip since we will be checking in again at their hotel once we get back to Manila. The following morning at 5AM on our way to the airport, the reception said that we are not allowed to leave our luggage at the hotel because they just received a memo the other day of the new policy. The Reception desk officer didn’t even try to give a solution and gave a “don’t care attitude’ about the problem they had caused. They didn’t give the guest notifications of the change of policy that they’ll just have to surprise their guest that they couldn’t keep to their promise the last minute. I asked to talk to the manager but he said he is not around. With time constraint due to the flight to Boracay, I took all the luggage to my house before going to the airport for my flight. Moreover, they promised to prepare egg sandwich to the guests but that wasn’t even completely prepared. That incident showed how inconsiderate, unprofessional and how the staff don’t care about the welfare of their guests. It would have been a good stay but this ruined everything.

We stay at the Cherry Blossom a few times a year when traveling through Manila. It’s located next to the big Robinson’s Mall, has decent food and is reasonably charged. We will stay again.

room 315 was perfect for my needs. the tabo and balde came in late but i have the sense of saving water using balde at tabo. CBH should have it readily available and it would pay for itself if it is used by even 1 guest.

Friendly security guard. Staff are ok. Room insulation is very bad seems noise outside is passing through the door and window even closed. Noisy AC. Every time I asked to make up my room, the coffee mug was not changed nor the table was cleaned. Short walk to Robinson’s mall. Towels not smell fresh.
The front desk staff and the dog and gards Are very sweet. And kind

Buffet breakfast was ok and included eggs cooked any way that you wanted but only some vegetables, no cheese or ham for my omelet. Other than that the food was hot and good.
Without any speculations, I reserved and stayed 2 days at the hotel. A very basic equipped room with a queen size bed, a bath room, and no safe box in the room. Stay away from the hotel if you really like to stay a modernised room because the every room might be renovated, but basic design is in 80's. I like it's location and low cost of stay.
