Certainly there are cheaper options around Gensan, but as soon as you walk into the lobby and the staff greet you, you will know your money was well spent…. every single staff member I encountered was kind and friendly and welcoming and that means the most to me —-hotel was wonderful, massive Breakfast buffet was really good and you have to ask about the speakeasy bar located nearby called 7 monkeys.!!! I will never stay anywhere else when I return to Gensan!!

The moment you walk in and see the beautiful, elegant, grand lobby this lets you know that something special is going to occur. The staff from bellman to check in are all so welcoming and friendly and you get that feeling that you are special to them. The room was equally as elegant and beautiful as the lobby. The very comfortable bed and plush linens create a comfortable stay. There are three restaurants within the hotel and all offer world class dining with service to match. This was in my top 2 places out of five I stayed in Gensan. Definitely will book this place again when I return to General Santos.

Staff, lobby incredible Rooms are outdated but clean Gym barely qualifies as a gym The big turn off was how dirty the water in the pool was. I would not even go in it was so bad. Its a 3 star hotel. Did the job but it will not be my first choice for sure

The Hotel is located perfectly across from SM mall and easy walk to Tuna Park and other locations. Staff is terrific from checking in Summer did a fantastic and professional welcome. The morning breakfast is prepared wonderfully with great staff like Keeth. Definitely a perfect stay if in Gensan.

Everything good, but breakfast not the best, unless you’re a Filipino. But breakfast is also for Westeners? Hotel management should ask themselves this question. Also remember to keep food hot! Hot cold food absolutely not very delicious. But very kind employees. Luxury rooms too :)

Parking issues

Staff and accommodations were fine. We had a problem with the parking. It’s difficult coming in and going out. Very limited space for vehicle to park or even for quick pickups and drop offs.

Great Location

Location is great, directly across from SM Mall of Gensen, that means many food options. The room design and deco is a little old, but clean, the desk lamp didn't work in my room, it keeps flickering, but i just had it off, so there wasn't an issue. Breakfast was good, next to the pool.

We were worried prior to the trip because of the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that hit Gensan last June 8, 2026. We are thankful that the hotel didn't sustain major damage despite widespread devastation in the city. We stayed from July 5-July 10,2026 with family members. At one time there were 15 of us. Then there were 9 of us total. The service was excellent. All the staff members were very friendly and helpful. We just had to ask and they tried to meet our needs. Special mention to Angel at the service desk; Lloyd at the Mint Cafe and VIP lounge for making sure that we got what we ordered. Jin, the omelet chef, accommodated my request for a special omelet with bitter melon(ampalaya). Jin also made sure that my husband got his omelet the way he wanted it. Special treatments like these made our stay calm, peaceful and relaxing. JED, made sure I got some more jicama (singkamas) slices and fresh sweet papaya: craving satisfied indeed. The cleaning staff were awesome as they always cleaned our room and made the bed. My only beef is that the AC was a little loud, though once we were asleep it was just background noise. Thank you Greenleaf, our home in Gensan, when we visit. We have always stayed here since 2013. See you again soon.

The property had been in covid lockdown, until about a month ago according to the staff, so maintenance in our room was poor. The carpet was dirty and the room had a bad mildew smell. We toughed it out because we were not in the room but to sleep. Overall the appearance and atmosphere, the location and service is great! I was pleased with the dining, good food and friendly staff! Would come here again as this is one of the finer hotels in the area.

I liked: comfortable bed, working A/C, nice size room, good breakfast buffet, friendly staff, airport shuttle I didn't like: that I had to ask for an iron, very loud disruptive party next door to me that kept me awake for several hours!, that I requested 2 bottles of water from the front desk...and never received them, that the fitness room was so limited.
