Lovely new glamping tent with hot tub. Location really good to explore local area. Staff really friendly and helpful. This place feels like it cares about it’s guests and takes pride in the site and accommodation.

This could have been and should have been a 5 star review, easily. Love the place! The location, the tent, the facilities. Only one problem - the heating (a/c) in our tent is not working properly. During the day it is somehow working ok but at night we are freezing. We notified the staff but they can't really fix something that is somewhat working during the day and stops working at night. Assuming that this is an issue only with our tent (#2) and that it will be taken care of, then this is a 5-star review.

Wonderful hospitality

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - a true breakaway! Alfred was amazing with his service and assistance. The breakfasts are massive... and delicious. A definite must do for families (and couples) who love the outdoors while staying in relative luxury.

Brilliant glamping safari style. Great view over the mountains from the tents and you can see many springbok amongst others coming to drink from the dam. The pool was a great way to cool off after a hot day.

Sehr schöne Lage am Wasserloch, Zelte sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, dass nicht abschließbar, aber man hat ein sicheres Gefühl. Tolle Alternative und in der Nähe viele Möglichkeiten für zb Daysafari oder vieles weitere…

Lovely glamping; it was very cold during our stay, no heat in tent and only 1 of 4 electric blankets worked/could be plugged in. Does smell of cow from neighboring livestock farm - including in the water (both tap and provided filtered). Great views and positive family experience

Die Unterkunft war der Hammer! Es war einfach nur ein Traum. Die Angestellten waren sehr zuvorkommend, die Aussicht der Hammer. Wir können Camp Figtree und den Addo nur empfehlen. Genauso können wir die vom Camp organisierte Safari durch den Addo empfehlen. Weiter so!!

Heather (a/c unit) wasn't functioning well and nights were freezing. We reported that but nothing was done. 3 nights of suffering. Although the place is amazing - freezing nights without heating are not worth it. Leaving the fireplace on at night is not an option. Also, originally we booked 2 nights and couldn't get to add a third night so ended up booking another night separately. As a result we were charged twice for the cleaning fee. We asked for a refund and were refused. They didn't even clean the tent during our stay - only once - after we left. So one charging us twice for the cleaning fee??

12 Zelte mitten auf einer Ranch. Kleiner Shop mit allem was man braucht. Gibt Frühstücks- und Grillkörbe zu bestellen. Im Zelt ist alles da. Auf der Ranch gibt es viele Tiere zu beobachten. Typisch für ein Zelt hört man alles um einen herum. Auch nachts die Tiere. Ein tolles Erlebnis. In der Umgebung gibt es einige Attraktionen (Straußenfarmen, gamelodges, tropfsteinhöle,...)

The best way to experience the Klein Karoo

A real highlight of our South African road trip. The tents are all on one side of a small lake - a bird haven. The views are gorgeous. The night sky is incredibly clear. And, because there’s only a dozen or so tents on the whole site, they’re well-spaced and private. Our tent was pretty well-provisioned with a full kitchen inside and a braai outside. The two double bedrooms share a private bathroom at the back of the tent. After checking in, we realised we were missing things off the inventory but Reception was closed (it shuts at 5pm). But when we reported the missing things the following day, they were all brought to us within minutes - excellent service. Our tent could have done with a little TLC - the front entrance was quite battered - but that’s the only tiny criticism. This is a space where you can really appreciate the beauty and silence of the Klein Karoo - I’d return in a shot.

Glamping is the way to and Africamps is where to go! This is our 2nd stay at Africamps Klein Karoo and we are already planning our 3rd. I would stay at any Africamps in the country. Brilliant setup and beautiful views, with incredible staff. See you soon!
