Can't beat the view over the lake at sunset. Room was clean and comfortable although I noticed an odd slightly chemical smell upon entry, but I'm pretty sensitive to smells and it wasn't noticeable after a short while, maybe just cleaning products.

We have stayed here on a few occasions and the rooms are nice and cozy. The waterfront is beautiful. The restaurant has good food. We will stay here again for sure. The staff and owners are nice to deal with.

Our room was renovated, so that was nice. A very lovely view of the water! And a nice area to take the dog. A few minor things like broken screens (so we couldn't open the windows), loud bathroom fan, and broken picnic table in the yard made it look a bit rough. The person at the desk when we checked in kept yelling at the staff. He seemed unhappy.

Nestled on a romantic little beach front, the Carolyn Beach Inn & Restaurant was an absolute delight. The rooms were clean and the view was amazing. Do yourself a favour and try the Beef stew and Masala at the restaurant, one of the best meals of my life. The Inn is also conveniently located near a gas bar/Tim Hortans.

The motel is very old and dated ... the rooms look like something from the Bates Motel era ... the A/C was broken and the bathroom is small and very dated.

Exceptional service and the accommodations were more than what we expected. Next time we will eat in the dining room! Food smelled wonderful. This will be our family’s new stop!

The desk staff was somewhat rude. Part of the property was in much need of repair, the wing of the motel we stayed in had some upgrades made and were fairly clean. We had a good view of the lake and it was quiet.

Always a pleasure to stay here. Room wasn't ready for check in, but no big deal. Picnic table we used on a previous visit was missing, but we made do. Will always go back, when we can.

Property is at a great location and has great access to the water for a swim. However, general maintenance on the outside is needed! Restaurant could offer a basic breakfast menu guests even though Tim Hortons is close by. Safety was not a concern during our stay!

A clean room in an old motel. I ate at the restaurant when I was told (by the owner) that the fish was fresh from the lake. It wasn't. Frozen haddock. I would recommend eating at Tim Horton's across the street.

Great welcome on arrival. Jaseem is so nice and friendly. We loved the “home cooked”Indian food at the restaurant! So Dee-lish! The Muskoka chairs by the water were awesome - sitting & having a pint looking out over the water while the warm sun was setting was magical! We’ll be back!

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The check in was great. They let us check in a bit early because of the circumstances we came up there. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not open. It was to open this weekend coming. Lots of parking. The view of the lake was beautiful.
