Everything about this hotel is perfect! The room, the service, the host, the food and the location. We just did not want to leave. Lovely large rooms, which are immaculate as is everything at this hotel. We were made to feel so welcome by Rogelio, who was a superb host. He spoke to all the guests everyone, was made to feel valued and welcome. He also has a lovely team of staff, nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had in a hotel in Spain. The restaurant was excellent with a super wine list. The food was excellent and good value for money. (The Zamburinas were the best I have ever had) We did struggle to find the hotel, as our sat nav was insisting on taking us a dirt track, and we were having none of that nonsense! We doubled back into town and saw the sign, you must go past the railway station (Handy for trips to Cudillero) and over the railway bridge and you just keep going until you run out of road. The walk down to the beach is 1.5 kms, which coincidentally was the dirt track our sat nav had tried to take us up, it can be driven, but is very rough, okay if you are in a 4 by 4. There is a short cut to the beach which is 1km, I would recommend that route, as you do not have to walk down the road that way. The Beach is fabulous.
