Al llegar a la habitación nos encontramos con una plaga de cucarachas, intentamos llamar varias veces al responsable, pero no nos cogió el teléfono, así que hasta la mañana siguiente no pudimos hablar con él. Resultó ser muy maleducado y demostró muy poco interés por la situación. Nunca contesta al teléfono una vez que se va del establecimiento, así que no hay ninguna ayuda en el caso de que pase algo por la noche. Incluso le hemos preguntado que pasaría si hubiera un incendio en el B&B y nos contestó que ya se enteraría al día siguiente por los bomberos. En fin, una noche horrorosa y una discusión muy desagradable con el responsable. Absolutamente no recomendable.

Amazing stay and impeccable hosts

The B&B is a very nice and very well maintained building featuring many pieces of history as the host will explain you at your arrival. It is a family business and they take very good care of each individual staying there. Location is very good, 4 minutes away from the little old city island and plenty of restaurants bars etc around but thankfully very quiet to allow a good sleep. Beautiful sea views from the room and easy free parking nearby

Soggiorno spettacolare

Praticamente tutto perfetto. Location ottimale fronte mare, tranquilla e a due passi da Gallipoli centro storico. Bella stanza, sempre pulita, con letto comodo e tutti i confort. Colazione sublime, con prodotti locali naturali e abbondante. Logistica perfetta vista la vicinanza delle superstrade che raggiungono tutto il Salento. Inoltre, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, che non guasta. Ma il vero punto di forza sono i proprietari-gestori della struttura, Marcello e Manuela, papà e figlia. Due persone eccezionali, simpatici, sempre disponibili, dalla forte carica umana e, soprattutto, sempre prodighi di consigli su cosa fare e dove andare. Con loro non abbiamo sbagliato un colpo. Ci torneremo e raccomanderemo agli amici.

AMAZING!!!

My girlfriend and I spent 5 days at B&B Mareggiata, Marcello welcome us and told us a lot about the history of the building, the city, the best places to visit, the best restaurant in town and also the traps to avoid. Manuela and Marcello every morning prepared a super breakfast with the best fresh local food available and big variety both salty and sweet. they helped us when we had a problem with the car and thanks to them we sort everything quickly otherwise it could have been a disaster! Honestly not only a pleasant stay but an amazing experience! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! We will go back soon!!!

Soggiorno indimenticabile, premurosa acccoglienza

Il B&B è veramente accogliente e arredato con gusto. La vista su Gallipoli vecchia e la Baia Verde impagabile. Camere spaziose, pulite, dotate di tutti i comfort, incluso piccolo frigo e cassaforte nonché TV satellitare e Free WIFI. La piccola distanza che separa dal centro storico si percorre quasi volando assaporando il profumo salmastro della marina e del Porto vecchio e pregustando le delizie che di lì a poco i ristoratori Gallipolini ti proporranno. Una menzione particolare va alla titolare Manuela e a suo padre, che ci hanno permesso di godere a fondo del soggiorno, grazie al trattamento estremamente cordiale e accogliente. Ci hanno letteralmente 'viziato' con superbe colazioni proponendosi ogni giorno qualche leccornia dall'orto in campagna, dalle vicine masserie e da pasticcerie raffinate. E preziosi consigli sulle spiagge, le località da visitare e gli eventi, i ristoranti. E altro ancora Grazie di cuore di tutto.

Sehr gut gelegenes hübsches Hotel in Strandnähe

Unser Aufenthalt vom 03. bis 10. Okt. 2015 im B&B Mareggiata in Gallipoli Da meine Frau und ich, erst nach 23:00 Uhr ankamen mussten wir vorher anrufen. Aber trotz so später Stunde wurden wir erwartet und sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und ordentlich und wurde jeden Tag gründlich gereinigt. Die Klimaanlage war betriebsbereit was mich eigentlich wunderte, da in Süditalien die meisten Hotels ihre Klimaanlagen ab 01 Oktober außer Betrieb nehmen. Ein Fernseher, den wir aber nicht genutzt hatten, war auch vorhanden. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Es gab natürlich die landestypischen Sachen wie z. B. Salate aus frischen Tomaten, Oliven, Basilikum verschiedene Kräuter. Verschiedene Arten Schaf- und Ziegenkäse, frische Mozzarella, Wurst und Schinken. Süßes Gebäck war auch vorhanden, wie sollte Süßes in Italien denn fehle. Jeden Tag überraschte uns die Hausherrin, mit von ihr selbst im Backofen zubereiteten Gerichten. Sie war so lieb uns sogar einige Rezepte aufzuschreiben. Wir bekamen Empfehlungen bei welchem Fischer es gegrillten Schwertfisch oder Thunfisch gibt. Ja sogar rote Austern wurden uns empfohlen, die wären köstlich. Mit dem Mietauto war es sehr leicht die schönen Strände in der Umgebung zu besuchen die Halbinsel Salento zu erkunden und einige schöne barocke Städte zu besichtigen wie Tarent, Lecce, Otranto, Nardò, Santa Maria di Leuca und Brindisi. Sehenswert ist auch Alberobello mit den ca. 1500 Trulli, sowie die Ausgrabungen in Metapont.

B&B accogliente in una cittadina incantevole.

La signora Manuela, eccellente padrona di casa e il signor Marcello, esperto in arte culinaria, ( padre e figlia) fanno del B&B Mareggiata un ottimo punto di accoglienza nella bella Gallipoli. Prima colazione completa (dolce/ salato), varia, con specialità salentine. Pulizia impeccabile. Bagno assolutamente nuovo, l'acqua della doccia scende subito alla giusta temperatura. Wi- Fi perfetto. Il mare di Gallipoli e della sua costa, trasparente, pulito- senza meduse- merita un soggiorno. Il centro storico ad ogni angolo è una nuova incantevole scoperta. La cortesia e la disponibilità degli abitanti sono caratteristiche da annotare.
