We stayed in Rooms 11 and 22 from 7–10 July as a family of four (two adults and two teenagers).
Check-in and check-out were both quick and hassle-free. The reception staff were friendly, helpful and happy to provide useful local information.
The location worked well for us. It’s within walking distance of the town centre, with a couple of handy mini markets nearby for water and other essentials. The tram stop is only a short walk away and is accessed via a flight of steps.
The beds were very comfortable, the rooms were quiet, and the views from Room 22 were excellent. Bed linen and towels were spotlessly clean.
A fan was provided in each room. It was a little noisy but did the job, and the opening windows allowed plenty of fresh air through the rooms.
The only real downside was the bathrooms in both rooms. They were clean but dated and well past their best, and could do with a refurbishment.
Breakfast was good, with a typical continental buffet offering plenty of choice.
Overall, Hotel Wilhelm worked well for us. We’d happily stay again, although updated bathrooms would make a noticeable difference.
