Lovely hotel in the centre of Svolvær, a great base to explore Lofoten. The hotel was very busy with lots of coach parties but it was quiet and comfortable. Take a room with a view over the square and harbour with a great view of the mountains.

To the cruise right out the door, to the galleries close by, the information center next door, the friendly and helpful staff, to the unrivaled breakfast, and the energy efficient features that make so much sense, this hotel fit our bill for our week-long stay.

Pros: breakfast was incredible, hotel restaurant was very good, bed was ok Cons: Our room overlooked the courtyard outside, it was extremely loud at night time when people would gather after bar/restaurant closed for the evening. Parking was $20 for an indoor spot at the hotel.
