The cottage was absolutely gorgeous and comfortable. The hosts provided the most amazing range of breakfast options that I have not had before . The host took time to show me around their property and discuss what was available in the town. I would definitely stay at Ivy on Glenelg again.

This traditional B B was full of charm and exceptionally comfy beds! The attention to detail in the decor, table layouts etc was lovely and the provisions for breakfast catered for everything you could want. Pod coffee and hot frothed milk was an unexpected delight. The hosts were genuinely lovely and helpful and the peaceful gardens and bird baths with the beautiful trees in blossom made me want to stay much longer than I was able. Highly recommend for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

The continental breakfast supplies were excellent and very generous. The surroundings were very quiet. The bathroom was a good size. The full size fridge and washing machine were very good. Overall we found it very comfortable. Our only negative comment is that the standard of cleanliness was a little disappointing

An old, but comfortable and well equipped B&B

The Ivy on Glenelg provides a genuine taste of country living in a well equipped apartment. The owners, David and Irene were both friendly and very helpful. You couldn’t hope for better hosts. If you are driving from Devonport or Launceston to Hobart. Campbell town and the Ivy on Glenelg provide a decent alternative to either Ross or Oaklands as a place to stay.
