Was turned away before check-in for lack of rooms even though I had a reservation. Not the property pictured on the site.

Wish I could give negative stars. Desk clerk did not know price quoted in app and could not make change to my cash payment when he said no credit cards. First two rooms had non-functioning toilets and third had “not been used in a while” per the barefoot clerk who tried to mop up liquid on floor after moving refrigerator into its place in room. He never got the towels, toilet paper and soap we requested to make the 3rd room a possible stay. We asked for cash back to leave for a different place that met minimum standards, but he refused, so we left and lost $100.

Run,do not walk away from this place! I booked online, the owner said he never looks at the online bookings. There is a hand written note on the desk, it's cash only. He took us over to our room,… Went inside said he wanted to make sure everything worked. My boyfriend went to use the bathroom, he came out and said we were leaving. It was filthy dirty. The gentleman that was booked next-door to us, asked to bum a cigarette off my boyfriend, – and then while I was taking my stuff out of the van and bringing it into the room, – my boyfriend came in and said we are leaving. Our neighbor told him that he was from the psychiatric ward and that was where they placed him and he wanted to use our microwave because he didn’t have one in his room. So, I grabbed my stuff out of the room and we left. Before we left, I had checked the bed and the mattress was all stained and had crumbs under the blanket, and it looked like there was a squished cockroach on the wall above the bed. There were no towels, – there was water damage on the ceiling, where there was a hole. This motel should not even be listed on this website. I would ask for a refund, however they only take cash! Fortunately, – my boyfriend gave me back my hundred bucks. So if you are in Rome, New York, – do not go to the Rome motel.

The place was clean and the location convenient. It took a good 5 minutes for the water to reach a mildly warm state and if you cupped it in your hand you could not see your palm because the water was milky white. We would not dare drink it.

we did not stay at this property. the manager refused my 17-year-old to stay without me paying more when it clearly stated in the policy people 17 and under are considered children. he took my money though but refused to refund it when I would not pay him extra for a child.

This did give me a chance to attend a film festival that was outstanding. But the hotel room had no water except for a trickle from the sink. There was no water for the shower or for the toilet. I'll let you imagine what that was like. I complained to the clerk, but nothing happened. It cost $220, which in those conditions was an insult.

The place we pulled into was a totally different place then what was pictured on the website. There was no one in the office, a person strolled through and told us there were no rooms available even though we had a reservation. On the office counter, was a sign saying that cash was the only acceptable payment method. The place was run down and not worth staying at even if there had available rooms.

No one came to the desk, upon our arrival. I could hear a tv on, and tried to get someone’s attention to no avail. There weee no other vehicles, not one, in the parking lot. So I guess everyone who did try to check in, got the same treatment. I will never book this motel again. I won’t recommend it to enemies!

Nothing to like, I had no choice it was getting late. Room smell like latrine. Paint chipping everywhere, not worth the money.

Convenient location for Delta Lake Triathlon. But, 2 towels were dirtied from someone wiping some black or brown substance on them prior to my visit. Also, though room was labelled non-smoking, the room was damp and musty with definite smell of cigarette smoke… I opened up windows and entrance door wide & used my personal box fan to circulate outside air through the room and out the window in bathroom for about 2 hours. This helped a lot. I ran AC and kept bathrooom window all nigh to keep clean air coming in during sleep.

Years ago my uncle would stay there when he visited from California. Sometimes stay for two weeks. It was very clean and cozy then. The outside was well kept. While I stayed there it should have been closed to customers. They were power washing , stripping the old paint off the outside walls. Both days I was there. The owner/ manager lives in a house connected to the motel. I was one of the only customers staying there. Those that were were cooking outside their rooms because there were no inside cooking facilities. The owner manager should have charged me half of the regular 85$ rate if he insisted on staying open while this major improvement project was being done. And my car was in the middle of all this and during the day hours I had to leave or be subject to this power washing right outside my door. It should not have been advertised as open for business

Would not stay again

This place was a gamble for me. There were some poor reviews but my inner cheap-xss got the best of me and, in life sometimes I wanna get outside my “usual” The place was kinda cute as I drove up in a 1960’s type of way and the women at the front desk seemed very nice. Pros: Full kitchen with fridge, sink, range/oven, micro for $65 Towels were new No sign of any bugs save for a few small spiders Fridge worked great Bed was super firm but provided a good night’s sleep Cons: The facilities are not only old but run-down. The kitchen was ok but the bathroom was not. I didn’t feel comfortable taking a shower seeing the tub floor The rooms were not cleaned to any standard Understand, I was not expecting a chain hotel’s standard of cleanliness, but there were cobwebs and dirt in many places indicating a lack of everyday cleaning There was a pubic hair on the blanket There was a cIgarette hole in sheet. Air conditioner missing knob impossible to turn on A few small rodent droppings in the cabinet (see pic) The pube didn’t bother me all that much but a top sheet with a cigarette hole was the dealbreaker. Bottom Line: I would not stay here again and I have found my “line” between being a thrifty person who is not pretentious about these types of things, and being someone who expects basic cleanliness. If the room was $25, I might take a second look...but for $65, I need a sheet with no burn hole and a shower I feel good about getting naked in
Bed felt like a bunch of boards with a foam layer over it but provided a good night sleep
Cute enough kitchen table. (Love the wood paneling!)
Cigarette burn hole in sheet
Sink wasn’t as bad as the bathtub, but needed replacing
