The hotel was completely renovated this year, rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable and linens are crisp. Front desk staff, valet parking and our housekeeper Claudia, provided excellent service. The bar in the lobby is very pleasant and had several non alcoholic drinks including beers. There’s a coffee shop but coffee was disappointing. I ordered decaf drinks several times and all of them were watery and flavorless. I found their breakfast options lacking. They offer valet parking for $55 per night as well as self parking for $3/hour capped at $36 per day. The area is lively and offers plenty of dining and entertainment.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Exceptional Stay at The Lowline Hotel, Charleston From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for something special. We were welcomed with warm smiles by a friendly, professional staff who made us feel at home immediately. The valet team was equally impressive—attentive, courteous, and always ready to help. Perfectly located on King Street, The Lowline Hotel is in the heart of Charleston’s shopping, dining, and entertainment district, yet tucked behind a beautiful courtyard that provides a peaceful retreat from the city’s energy. Our room was exquisite—luxurious, beautifully designed, and exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, the barista was accommodating, and the restaurant staff delivered outstanding service throughout. The hotel’s eclectic interior design is stunning, especially the restaurant, blending sophistication with warmth and creating an inviting atmosphere. We also loved the TrackMan golf simulator, which was a fun and unique amenity. If you’re looking for luxury with character, The Lowline Hotel delivers. Between the impeccable service, exceptional dining, beautiful design, prime location, and thoughtful amenities, every detail exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to return!

Unfortunately, our stay was less than par. Our room wasn’t ready at arrival, even though I called and requested an early check in and they confirmed as we had an event we had to change for. When we got to the room, the bathroom bulbs were out. We requested they fix when left for the event. Came back and nothing. The bathtub wasn’t draining at all. The next morning I asked the bulb be changed again and the tub be fixed. Again nothing. We spent $1200 on our stay and it was never fixed for the entire week. Multiple requests and nothing. The front desk people just seems confused unfortunately and said nothing when we departed today due to the fact that things in our room weren’t working. I would have expected they make it up with at least free parking or a free night. Nothing. Cris just stared at me lost and confused when we departed.
