The cabin was tidy and reasonably clean The venetians blinds hadn't been cleaned for a long time and were very dusty. I paid for a spa cabin but the spa didn't work.

Great park

We had a great holiday at Anchorage Holiday Park Iluka. It's a nice park by the beautiful Clarence River. It has everything you need and is clean and well maintained. The park owners are the nicest and most accommodating people you could wish for. Highly recommend.

We liked the walks in Iluka, with many kangaroos in the wild. We did not like the fact that we were unable to sit outside. The balcony was ridiculously tiny (800mmx800mm). The car doors could hardly be opened, due to lack of space. The interior of the cabin was smaller than any we've been in before. It was well equipped, large fridge, reasonable bathroom, all fresh and clean. It would be uncomfortable for 4 people. It was definitely overpriced.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay, my husband and I stay very often and the staff are always friendly and helpful and the park it self is a tropical paradise. We will always choose to stay there for all our holidays ☺️

A nice holiday place on "island time", quaint, functional small units, nothing changed for a long time, was positively surprised about the bubbly effect in the bathtub in our "spa cabin". It's best for relatively small people, but worked well for us, also a public bubbly heated pool for all guest either way. The negative with the stay was the poor / rude handling of mismatch of the price quoted through Hotels.com (Expedia), firstly the manager was thoroughout out 5 days stay unavailable to discuss, despite several visits to the front desk, pluss leaving our phone number. Then on the last day a representative became threatening in an attempt to "meet half way", the offer was well intended probably, but not the tone or presentation. Anyways we booked a stay for 4 including 2 children, and then got a confirmation that only two guest were booked, and children was 12AUD extra (up to 17 years, ours are small), but once at the site children were suddenly 20 AUD extra. Hotels/Expedia is in the process of looking into this mess.. As long as you check booking confirmation and details carefully, and expect the possibility of having to pay somewhat extra, the all good. We ended up paying an 20%+ extra, making it difficult to compare up front with competing alternatives in the area.

Very helpful & friendly ladies in the desk. Thankyou to them. Cabin requires a few repairs eg sliding screen door in lounge, base ties of the verticle blinds in bedroom & lounge mostly pulled off. This was an older cabin but suitable for a few nights stay when very little other accommodation available

Cottage in front row

Cottage small, very small balcony two chair supplied but no room to put both chairs on the balcony . Bed very hard and tiny shower and water taking time to become hot. Staff lovely and helpful. I think a bit over priced for this accommodation ,but when I booked only accommodation left in Iluka .

We stayed here because our friend stays here often. Bit of a walk to go to town (we took the car). Nice, relaxing holiday town. Not as busy as Yamba. Enjoyed the Sunday music cruise and also the ferry over to Yamba is handy.

Quiet beautiful setting

My wife and I stayed here for a quick getaway for two nights. We stayed in Spa Cabin 3 which had a lovely deck overlooking the tropical Balinese-style garden. The cabin itself was clean and and nice. A good size combined dining/lounge area. Lots of birdlife and the river across the road.

poor management

Arranged after hours arrival (6.30pm) and told to go to spa cabin with light on. Turned out to be wrong one for the key we were given. The right one for the key was next door. We dropped out bags and went out for dinner returning for bed, only to find there was no water to the cabin. So much for a spa! Too dark to work out how to turn on the water so we survived the night with only the water in a jug in the fridge. Found the external water tap in the morning and able to flush the loo etc. When we raised this with the reception - now open, they showed very little concern. We decided not to stay the second night.

Awesome holiday park

We stayed in one of the spa cabins and it was lovely. It had everything we needed. The staff were very helpful and directed us to the local fishing spots where we could drop a line in :) Will definitely be coming back for another visit.
