We stayed just one night before our plane left. The rooftop deck was the best. We’d been in Florence at Moon Boutique Spa for the week. We love the spa there. Palazzo Giardino near the Duomo was the best ever. The view was amazing and it is in a palace from the 16-17+centuries. Beautiful and in the heart of Florence. Cobblestone roads and uneven sidewalks but also great taxi service to the palace doors. Elevator to rooms, some stairs to rooftop. Private terraces $$$? We highly recommend it. My husband loved the location. Cafes, Architecture History everywhere even an Irish pub tucked away in the spiderweb shaped streets. Palazzo Giardini is in the heart of Florence. Breakfast sounded delicious but our flight was too early. Easy cab ride, but you can take the tram for 2€ each if you have time.

Very friendly and helpful staff on Reception. Old palazzo charm - lovely views from terraces. Room size and bathroom size both fine - shower could be a bit hit and miss with temp but manageable. Plumbing is quite loud especially when other rooms use flushes/showers late at night (and why must people slam doors?!) Good variety at breakfast. Location also good as 10mins to Duomo & 20 mins to train station. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful and charming stay in one of the less touristy areas of the city. Very central location and the hotel has a certain charm to it. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good. The best part about it is the balcony / roof by the lobby. It has an excellent view. Good AC in the rooms (and it was HOT)
