Great stay to experience Garda

My wife and stay here for just under a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All the staff were friendly, rooms were clean and the breakfast was good for what we needed. The location is just a 5 min walk from the Lake front, and so is ideal as it quiet.

Excellent breakfast, great choice, the coffee machine took a bit of getting used to, a great talking point between staff and guests!! All staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Radu who was a great entertainer regarding chit chat, his wife was also very helpful and a pleasure to talk too. My husband enjoyed sparring with Radu and will miss that. We thoroughly recommend this hotel, everything about it is 4/5 star and not 3, we hope to be back at somepoint.

Fantastic hotel

We were greeted at the airport with airport shuttle the hotel had provided. As we had arrived early they held onto our bags while we went and had lunch. They made our room ready early for us. The staff were very friendly throughout our stay and breakfast was exceptional. The pool was lovely with an added treat of food and drink available and brought out to you. Sara on reception was incredibly professional and replied to our email queries before arrival very well. A fantastic friendly hotel.

A short walk from the waterfront, the hotel is bright, airy and very clean. All the staff are very friendly. The room was comfortable, the mattress may be too firm for some but fine for us. A kettle and bottled water is provided. The air conditioning wasn’t working as it was still on the winter setting providing only heat even though temperatures were in the high 20s. Opening the windows meant we experienced quite a lot of road noise at night, although the area is very quiet during the day. There is a good selection of food at breakfast, including typical continental cold meats and cheeses, fresh fruit, juices, breads and pastries. Nespresso machines provide coffee and hot water for tea.

Huone on riittävä mutta toki vaatimattomasti sisustettu. Hotellin henkilökunta on palvelualtis ja ystävällinen. Pysäköinti edellyttää kaupunkilaista ajotaitoa. Tämä on juuri sen verran rannasta että on rauhallista nukkua mutta niin lähellä että sinne pääsee nauttimaan aamu- päivä- ja iltakävelystä. Rantaan kävelee 5minuuttia. Ravintoloita on on kymmenittäin ja kylä rantoineen todella kaunis. Aamiainen riittävä, Italialaiseksi suorastaan runsas. Onnistunut valinta.

As a solo traveller, I had a great stay here! I’ve never seen a single room but it worked. There were some nice little touches, the breakfast was great with so much choice- even vegan options. The staff were very attentive and took note of my allergies, making sure to point out what I could have each morning at breakfast. In the peak season they offer excursions too! I had an issue with a light not turning off but they were quick to fix this as soon as I mentioned it. Overall a lovely stay, I felt very welcomed and would definitely return. Thank you!!!

Ett mycket trevligt hotell, med bra frukost buff'e, rent och bra på alla vis. En pool gör inte upplevelsen sämre, och att baren levererar drinkar på poolkanten är ett trevligt drag. Att personalens glada attityd är alltid ett stort plus. Har bott på flera olika hotell i Garda genom åren men Villa Anthea är hittills det trevligaste och bästa till ett bra pris.

Great Garda stay

We were really pleased we chose this hotel for our 6 night stay in Garda. On arrival and throughout our stay reception staff were efficient and helpful. Our room was spacious, well furnished, clean and comfortable. Great clothes hanging and shelf space. Good lighting, plenty of power sockets and wifi was good for email and browsing. Our room was ground floor but was double glazed and had electric shutters. Breakfast was very good with staff constantly checking and refreshing the buffet to keep things fresh. Lots of options and little changes each day. Location is good - less than 100 metres from old town, but up a hill if you have restricted mobility. We would definitely stay here if visiting Garda again.

Es ist ein kleines, sehr schönes Hotel. Unser Zimmer befand sich im dritten Stock und war sehr klein, jedoch zweckmäßig eingerichtet was das ganze wieder ausgeglichen hat. Das Personal war ausnehmend freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Am Frühstücksbuffet ist wirklich für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei, für italienische Verhältnisse außerordentlich reichhaltig.

Very nice hotel with a perfect location

We had a lovely stay there. We spent only one night. Very nice rooms, clean and modern. Breakfast was great. The only thing that we were unthrilled about was the parking. They have a few reserved parking spots, so if you don't book before you arrive, they have a second parking spot that was quite far (about 800m or more). We ended up paying 2 euro for a parking outside the hotel on the street since we returned late to the hotel that day and didn't want to walk that far by foot with a 5 year old. It is free from 22pm until 8am. Also the elevator did not work, they took our lugages up to the room and down when we checked out. Best thing is the location. 5 min walking to the center. Overall very nice hotel.
