Very comfortable room, ample for two people. Bed was very comfortable. Lounge chair was very comfortable and great size. Kitchenette contained everything we needed. Ocean view was awesome. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. We flew into town and caught the 222 bus from the airport. Fare was 50c. Bus stop near Seaview hotel, which is walking distance to Aquarius. Front desk staff were extremely friendly. Will definitely be staying here again.

This hotel is perfect for seniors. The views over the bay are legendary, the rooms have everything needed - air conditioning, microwave, crockery, cutlery, washing up gear, balcony. For those who like swimming the Strand central beach is perfect, just over the road.

While visiting Townsville to spend time with my grand children, I chose to spend 5 nights Aquarius. I was not disappointed with anything, I was able to have the children over for a sleepover and they loved the swimming pool and view of the ocean and the pool from our 3rd floor. The staff were happy and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. My room was serviced daily and after busy days it was a pleasure to come home to. I will return again without a doubt. The room and hotel position is very good. Close to restaurants and local attractions. Great views from the room. Hotel car parking area fills up by about 5pm so may have to find a spot on the street if coming back later which is not hard. Staff are very good and helpful

Great location on The Strand but so noisy with car noise at night. Staff were friendly. Rooms were clean but bathroom was a little dated. Overall a good stay.
