A great apartment overlooking the water and sunset and very handy to have a washing machine/dryer even though it took hours to complete a cycle. We enjoyed cooking. We loved exploring Russell and surroundings so worth taking the car ferry from Opua (3km away) We were disappointed to discover the winery on way to Russell was closed even though advice was it was open on Wednesdays. Keri Keri is also worth a visit and a short drive north. Piahia though was the perfect place to stay.

We had an enjoyable stay at Edgewater Palms in Paihia. The location is fantastic, and the apartment, while compact, had everything we needed. We stayed in Apartment 25, which offered a pleasant partial sea view. A minor drawback was that the lifts were out of service during our visit, which made getting to our Level 2 apartment a bit inconvenient. However, the reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even assisting us with our luggage, which made a big difference. The infinity pool is a standout feature. Although it isn’t heated, it’s still very nice once you’re in and a great place to unwind. Overall, a comfortable stay with friendly service in a great location, despite a few small inconveniences

This was the cleanest and best appointment holiday apartment I’ve ever stayed at - the whole place was spotless - both inside the apartment and also in common areas like the pool. Lovely lady on the desk, very helpful and accomodating. Really nice apartment, spacious with great facilities, fab view and an excellent little pool for a dip if needed.
