Austin was amazing! Attentive, personable, accommodating and efficient. The bed was extremely comfortable.
However, the hotel is in need of a major overhaul! The AC was so loud, the TV couldn't be heard over it and when it cut off, the TV was blaring. The remote control didn't work. The pillows are ridiculous; bring back regular sized pillows. The sink lights and fan did not work. There were no handicapped bars in the tub or by the toilet, which was so small it was almost on the floor! As an elderly handicapped person, it was very difficult to attend to my personal needs. When using a toilet paper brand that only has 200 sheets per roll, please leave a spare or two, especially when there was only a quarter roll on the holder. The coffee pot was so old it didn't take pods. What's with 8 oz cups only throughout the hotel?? There was no microwave in the room. The alarm clock kept going off through out the night. Most people have cell phones for alarms. I ended up having to unplug the clock. The soda machine was right next to our room and extremely loud. I thought someone was vacuuming all night! Morning breakfast was not worth mentioning. My suggestion is for the powers that be to stay a night and experience what we did. Oh, BTW, the pool area was unkempt, and not enough seating. I've run out of room, so I won't even mention the other desk personnel. Needless to say, I probably won't be a guest again.
