Not a resort, and not a lot of amenities; however, it does have a pool, rooms have a kitchen, and there are soda and ice machines are available. Very well located in Myrtle Beach. 30 second walk to the beach. Parking was accessible and easy. Awesome view from our rooms. Owners and staff were very friendly and assisted my family with any/all needs and questions. I will definitely be staying there again and will recommend the Darlington Inn to family and friends.

The hotel is in great location, right across the street from the beach. There are plenty of free parking spots behind the inn. The pool area was clean and in good condition. The young gentleman who checked me in and out, provided excellent customer service. Two suggestions: paint or replace the microwave oven with rust spots on top (ocean air), replace television with a more current model (the picture on the old Toshiba was not great). Thank you!

This was definitely the cleanest room I've stayed in. The big name brand hotels are never this clean. This stay was during the "off season", so not many guests. Was nice and quiet abd great priced. The staff was nice and friendly and made sure you had enough clean toiletries daily. And, the beach was just across the street. Will stay here everytime.

This is an older building. I had an ocean view across the street. The room was clean but there were some areas along the wall that were brown/black. There was what appeared to be a duvet cover (without the duvet) and a sheet, no blanket nor were there any in the room. Luckily I was able to adjust the room temperature as there is no front desk staff after hours. The next day the front desk staff asked if I needed anything alas I forgot to ask for a blanket. It was a short distance to the boardwalk but all the shops were at the other end of the boardwalk(a little less than a mile). Due to it being right on the main strip, the loud cars and motorcycles driving up and down went on into the night(they were very loud with loud music). They provide soap only. Not that I used it( brought my own toiletries). All entry doors are facing the back of the building and open to air. Now the positives, the gentleman that checked me in was super nice and helpful. The bathroom and kitchenette was clean and all working order. The pool was clean and furniture was all in working order. I felt safe( as a solo traveler) in the hotel, on the beach, and the boardwalk. The room was not dated. The view of the oceans was great. I feel that my stay and the rate were aligned.
