easy access to bus, metro, tram to go to most of the tour site. world's 50th best bar is right next on the corner. close to park and food alley right behind. they change bedsheets everyday if you leave your key to the front from 10~12. friendly & helpful receptionists. and yes, like in the other reviews you can hear the other room too loud, but with the price and the other services & location, it didnt bug me that much. i recommend this hostel.

Sono stata all'hostel Orleans per una mini vacanza di qualche giorno a Barcellona, camera top super silenziosa e ben organizzata, personale gentilissimo e disponibile, posizione strategica vicina al Barrio gotico, Barceloneta e tutte le attrazioni del centro di Barcellona. Consigliatissimo!

Ood location

Nice place to stay, a little bit smallr than I expected but very clean. Just across from the train station. Do not have to take taxi from airport. Beach is at the 20 min walk and subway is at 10 min walk.

Bästa läget i Barcelona

Positivt överraskade. Enkel standard, men bra för att vara 2-stjärnigt. Nära till stranden, nära mysiga kvarter med fantastiska restauranger i varje hörn, nära till centrum. Helt perfekt läge.

Varning: extremt lyhört och bullrigt

Först det positiva: området är charmigt, inte mitt i smeten men centralt. Personalen var också mycket trevlig. Det negativa: stället var kantstött. Vårat rum hade endast ett minimalt frostat fönster mot liten gård. Detta framgick ej i beskrivningen. Hostelet var extremt lyhört. Då menar jag till den grad att man hörde ALLT som föregick i byggnaden. Om receptionisten hade högklackat på fötterna så missade man inte detta. Om några talade med varandra i huvudtrappan på väg upp så kunde man alla detaljer i samtalet. När någon duschade i ett angränsande rum, ja ni gissar rätt, hela helvetet bröt ut. När städningen drog igång på morgonen var det som att någon drog en vägborr i skallen på en. Dessutom var det inte särskilt billigt. Om ni är det minsta ljudkänsliga avråder jag starkt från att boka detta ställe.

Mi opinión es que si vas a Barcelona como turista para perderte por sus calles y más, es un hotel excelente por su ubicación. Esta cerca de todo andando, incluso para los traslados de bus para ir al aeropuerto. El hotel está muy bien, pero la pega es la siguiente: si vas por motivos de trabajo y quieres rematar el día haciendo alguna cosa, el wifi va de pena a más pena. Por lo demás,añado, es un hotel muy original.

Hostel Orleans - suosittelen!

Hostal Orleans oli tosi mukava yöpymispaikka! Huone oli viihtyisä ja ilmastoitu, pienellä parvekkeella sivukujalle päin. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Portaita oli paljon enkä nähnyt hissiä, joten jos niiden kiipeäminen tuottaa hankaluutta, niin silloin ei välttämättä ole hyvä paikka. Sijainti oli erinomainen, vastapäätä juna-asemaa, josta pääsee yhdellä vaihdolla lentokentälle. Tämä tuli tarpeeseen, kun taksit olivat menomatkalla lakossa. Hostellissa on myös taksintilauspalvelu. Me esim. kerroimme edellisenä iltana, että tarvitsemme taksin klo 4 aamulla ja taksikuski oli odottamassa meitä silloin. Ihan vieressä on pieni päivittäistavarakauppa ja ravintoloita oli moneen lähtöön ihan vieressä ja lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä. Itse voisin yöpyä seuraavalla kerralla uudelleen täällä!

Horrible noise !!!

You think you can sleep at this hotel .... forget it !!! I’ve been wake up around 9 every morning beuacuse ther were doing some work at the hotel during this summer on the 4floor, I went the first night ask to change my room because it was too noisy. The second day at the same time I was on the 5th floor the same, I asked to speak with the manager because I’m on holiday and i wanted to sleep until 12 if I wanted too but unfortunately no , she said to than all client leave around 9 so that why the noise was making at this hours .... so does it means than client like me who want to sleep until 12 they can’t because others leave them room around 9 ! Wao Escuse me if I m on holiday and want to sleep till 12 and spend my money to this room ! Never again and guys this summer she said than the hotel didn’t close so they are gonna make noise until there will finish them work so good luck to you if you book a room there !

Great experience and value for money!

Being totally honest with my criticism, I loved the hotel super fresh, central with 10 min walk to Barceloneta and 20 min walk to la ramblas. There is no reason to call this a hostel when there is everything that includes in a 3 star hotel. AC, fresh bed sheetes and blanket, daily cleaning, spacious balcony and a clean toilet with toilet articles included. This is by far the best “hostel” I had been to:))

I absolutely loved my stay. The hostal is strategically located in downtown Barcelona within walking distance to la Rambla, Cathedral, the Jewish and the gothic quarters. Wonderful coffee shop nearby with great coffee and even soy milk. Everyone spoke English. The hostal is very clean, comfortable and cosy. The front desk is open 24/7 so there is always someone there. The hostal is on the 3rd floor, lot of stairs. For those with knee problems or overweight this could be an issue. But for a healthy person, it is no problem. Friendly, helpful, and bilingual staff. I highly recommend this place.

Vicino Barceloneta,è possibile raggiungere tutte le attrazioni principali della città a piedi o prendendo vari autobus molto vicini all'ostello. Pulizia ottima e personale disponibile. Unica pecca il wi-fi molto lento e instabile.

В целом остались довольны отелем. Метро в 5 минутах ходьбы неспешным шагом. До пляжа идти 15-20 минут, до Ла Рамблы столько же. Район хороший, тихий не смотря на то, что рядом вокзал, на котором очень удобно добирались до парка Авентура. В районе много магазинов с местной дизайнерской одеждой. Рядом 3 супермаркета и отличная бургерная. До парка Цитадели 5 минут пешком, до триумфальной арки 10-15 минут. А музей Пикассо в 300 м от отеля. Уборку делали каждый день, полотенца тоже меняли ежедневно. В номере было немного сыро, но мы ее проветривали. Бронировали номер стандарт, нам повезло, дали номер с балконом.

Super Aufenthalt im Hostel Orleans

Alles in allem gab es nichts auszusetzen, es wurde jeden Tag sauber gemacht und die Handtücher wurden gewechselt. Es ist etwas hellhörig, aber sonst sehr zu empfehlen.

I recently stayed here for 5 nights and loved every moment. The family run hostel and all who work here are friendly and charmingly caring. Their attention to detail and cleanliness makes for a luxurious and homely feel to what is a friendly and happy place. I would always stay here anytime I visit Barcelona and cannot praise them enough. Thank you
