Nice hotel, well kept, and what you would expect from a Marriot.
Rooms were tastefully done and had a quality feel about them.
Staff were somewhat mixed... very low attention to service.... a couple of them were very friendly - but what i assume was the manager on the check in/out desk couldn't have been ruder or more judgemental if he tried - on multiple occasions.
Given we had just come from the Mandarin Oriental in Lake Como who couldn't have been nicer, this single man really let it down.
Not sure who he thinks he is, but perhaps he should remember he is only a hotel manager... of a 4 star hotel - not the owner of a 5 star high end Boutique.
