Excellent staff

Overall kid friendly, however no cribs available, which was a bummer. Pretty clean overall and having that extended room with the pullout sofa bed was very nice. My 18 month old got fussy and didn’t want to sleep one night, so I took her to the lobby so that I didn’t disturb other guests, and the front desk staff were so kind to make sure I was okay, comfortable, etc. overall a lovely stay with excellent staff

It’s a nice cozy hotel, except for 2 things: there were kids running down the halls and banging on the doors. I called the front desk to ask them to stop and it didn’t. I’m a night shift RN and it was very hard to get back to sleep during that. Second, the hot water on my day to leave was not working, so I had to take a cold shower. Not the end of the world, but not what I was expecting.

Pool/hot tub closed. We typically like staying at this property as we visit family in Rochester a few times a year. One of the main reasons is for use of the POOL/HOT TUB for our kids and ourselves but this time, that amenity is closed and we did not know that until check in. This was not disclosed at time of making reservation. I definitely would have stayed elsewhere. They do let you use the pool at the hotel right next door but it was packed with kids and no hot tub.

The shuttle service was appreciated and room condition was nice. They provided a door tag for required service. I did not ask for full service and only asked for one thing and they did not do that. There were other small requests related to towels which did not happen. Other than that, the desk staff was always very helpful.
