The best value in Belgrade

A true 5 star experience, familiar and very professional staff. It's with mixed feelings i write this review since they have few rooms, so at the risk that they are full next time I'm visit Belgrade. The conclusion is that if you are planning a trip to Belgrade and want a treat in an excellent hotel. This is THE hotel to stay in.

Lage: Etwas Abseits der Innenstadt, die aber zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen ist. Vor dem Haus eine stark befahrene Straße - besser ein Zimmer hintenraus bestellen. In der Nähe Supermärkte, Cafés, ein Restaurant, also alles, was man so braucht. Zimmer: Schönes Haus mit Stil. Mein Zimmer war groß und hatte genügend Sitz- und Ablagemöglichkeiten. Auch der Schrank war geräumig und hatte genügend Platz für meine Sachen. Wenn man nicht alleine reist, dann hätten es mehr Kleiderbügel sein können. Das Bett war bequem, die Matratze nicht durchgelegen. Ich habe gut geschlafen und mich wohl gefühlt. Großer Fernseher mit vielen Programmen in serbischer und englischer Sprache; keine deutschsprachigen Sender. WLAN war stabil und ausreichend schnell. Das Bad bot viel Platz, keine Schuhschachtel. Die Dusche ist sehr groß mit ebenerdigem Einstieg, warmes Wasser war sofort vorhanden. Ein Rasierspiegel wäre nicht schlecht. Die Anordnung der Toilette direkt neben der Tür ist etwas ungünstig. Ein großer Kritikpunkt: der Spülkasten der Toilette war nicht dicht, sodaß immer etwas Wasser in die Schüssel austratt und nach kurzer Zeit Wasser unter deutlicher Geräuschentwicklung in den Spülkasten nachlief. Für empfindliche Ohren kein Spaß mehrmals die Minute immer wieder das Toilettengeräusch zu hören. Leider wurde dieses Manko während meines Aufenthalts nicht behoben. Kleiner Kritikpunkt: die Milchpäckchen für die Teezubereitung waren abgelaufen.

Belgrade stay

Very beautiful hotel, converted from a former mansion that was built about 100 years ago. The room & bathroom are huge & clean. Breakfast is good. Location is convenient, within walking distance to the center. I would recommend this hotel & definitely would stay here again.

Bon décor et cadre général mais..

Le petit déjeuner était très limité. Aussi les draps et les serviettes sont très vieux.Les deux jours où on est arrivé il y avait le tournage d'un film donc il y avait trop de bruit depuis 6h du matin.En outre tous le temps l'équipe de tournage nous faisait des rémarques concernant notre comportement et même quand on sortait dès nos chambres...on s'est senti qu'on n'a pas été respectés du tout. Le positif est que les chabres sont spacieux et propres. Le centre ville n'est pas à côté et il faut faire un peu attention le soir car le quartier n'est pas très illuminé..

Dreadful experience Air conditioning didn't work leaving us unable to sleep well. Hopeless managers refused to engage. Moved 4 rooms and finally cut short our stay and moved to another hotel. Very poor breakfast. No attached restaurant. Fittings in bad shape. Pillow covers and towels with holes!

Stijlvol hotel op mooie locatie. Op loopafstand van het centrum en met enkele heerlijke restaurants in de buurt. Helaas werkte airco nauwelijks en de tv niet! Hotelstaf was zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk!

Lovely Hotel on the edge of skadarlija and Dorcol

Stayed here one night. Beautiful hotel. Could not fault the rooms. Location is a bit of a walk to the main shopping area but a nice stroll up through the bohemian street - Skadarlija. Basic but nice breakfast. Would stay here again.

Incredible building and beautiful, gigantic room. Service was not great. Mugs not cleaned during turn-down. Old fruit left out for breakfast. Took 2 days to receive my laundry which wasn't ironed or folded.

Vackert hotell

Vackert hotell med gångavstånd till det mesta. Rummet var stort med högt i tak och fin gammaldags inredning. Personalen var mycket hjälpsamma och trevliga. Enda minus var frukosten som kunde ha varit bättre.

отель для любителей истории и дворцовых интерьеров

Очень приятный отель. Один из самых приятных, в которых доводилось останавливаться. Может в целом по комфорту он и уступает большим сетевым отелям дорогих брендов, зато в нем очень классно воссоздана атмосфера исторического здания (когда-то этот особняк принадлежал местному магнату). Так что если вы любите историю и дворцовые интерьеры, то вам сюда. Сам номер был очень просторный и комфортный. Очень удобная и широкая кровать. Единственный минус, в котором сам отель не повинен, через дорогу напротив находится очень популярный у местных жителей бар, на улице возле которого по пятницам и субботам проходят импровизированные дискотеки. Музыка в номере была слышна не очень сильно, но тем не менее слышна. Моей подруге это спать не помешало, а мне пришлось употребить перед сном коньячку) Но, думаю, в номерах с окнами во двор не должно быть слышно. Завтраки были вкусными. Давно не ел столько копченого мяса)
