You cannot stay any closer to the Rio airport.
You cannot stay any closer to the airport. The hotel is part of Terminal 1 that was converted to a hotel. It was sufficient but very basic. But fine for an overnight stay with an early flight the next day. The only caution is that all of the outlets are 220 volt, so I did not use any of them the night I was there.

The room and bathroom was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Slept well before an early morning flight. The hotel is in Terminal 1. It is an easy 10-15 minutes walk to Terminal 2 where all the flights operate from. I believe there is a free shuttle for those who don't want to walk.

Basic hotel in the now no-longer-operating terminal 1. We arrived at 6.00 pm into what was a leftover from the mid 70’s concrete heydays. The rooms are refreshed with basic furniture and a newish bed, but the rest is very aged. You can walk to terminal 2 indoors which is the only operating one, which is a plus. Staff friendly. Leblon has been left very far behind…
