Basically a place to stay. Certainly not modern. The front desk person was not a people person. As far as the facilities and the room itself there was nothing that was bad but the beds were lumpy, very springy. We know it was a busy week for tourism in that area but we would not stay there for $185 a night if had the choice. Beggars cannot be choosers.

Bed mattress was high in the center and sloped on either side. Bathroom fan rattled very loudly. Coffee maker was horribly dirty. Walls too thin, as I heard other tenants easily, above and next door. Price of $130 a night was not comparable to the room you'd think you were getting.

Hotel was clean and adequate in resources including filtered water (which ran out and there was never any staff around to refill it). Staff were very slow with check in. The hallways strongly reeked of marijuana even though no vaping and no smoking signs were everywhere. A table with a toaster on it and a refridgerator next to it suggested maybe a breakfast would be served but the staff person was not sure. To check in you need to call a number on a phone to get the front desk staff in to help. We did check in at 9:30pm. I was not given a password for the internet so came downstairs had to follow up to get one. Overall the stay provided the basic amenities. It was clean. The mattress was comfortable. Staff were fairly absent, although they did knock on my door at exactly 11am to leave but gave me another 5 minutes. I would stay here again if nothing else of comparable price were available. We did stay during the peak of King Salmon season.

I'm happy with the rental, but asking for a security deposit in cash is not appropriate. You're supposed to put a hold on the card, even if the card is messed with or money is taken out.The money is already held on the card at the time of the purchase. The local policy of requiring a cash deposit is misguided, and contributes to homelessness and riff raff in the area.

Got charged twice and was told refund was issued but still haven’t seen anything come back. Old guy at check in was very difficult to understand. Room was in great shape and quality for price was amazing

This was not a great place to stay, I like the old renovated places but this one just really wasn’t. The noise traveled through the walls and floors, kept us up all night while we were there. There just wasn’t any staff around when you needed them, you had to call them. I just wouldn’t recommend them.

The staff was very hospitable. The drain plug in the bathtub in room 23 slowly leaked water out, so that should be secured so that you can take a long bath if wanted. Beyond that, very pleased! :)
