Incredible hotel - one of the best views ever, very stylish but according to local architecture and style and not very westernised (in a good way). The staff was super helpful, and nice! The gardens and atmosphere are amazing! 10/10! Wonderful place to stay. Lower expectations about the staff with the restaurant and bar if you come from the USA, they move at a different pace, relative to the rest of Guatemala. So plan accordingly when ordering drinks and food, also don’t order directly from the bar, use the waitress/waiter the bartender will deliberately overcharge you for drinks. Again I highly recommend the hotel because it is amazing, just be aware and expect a relaxed service and atmosphere.

The staff was mediocre. I emailed several times to arrange transportation to the hotel. They never answered. I asked was staying at in Flores to call them and was able to get it done. The front desk doesn’t speak much English and forget to give me the Internet password. The staff at the restaurant are extremely slow. It feels like staying at a holiday inn with a great location
