Amazing Location, Nice Room - Lacks Parking
The location could not be any better, especially the "Gulfstream" room itself. You can watch the amazing St. Pete sunset from your spacious balcony, or grab a beach chair (provided) and take a two minute stroll to the water and enjoy it from there.
I really like the ease of self-check-in, and the nice beach towels and chairs we get to use. There are also bikes to borrow, but we didn't try that out.
The room is cozy but also has plenty of space for two. The bed is a little firm, which is good for us. The AC unit kept the room nice and frosty, but the light that emits from it was pretty bright. If you're someone who likes it dark to sleep, you might get annoyed with the light.
There are already pics of the room on here, and they're accurate, but let me tell you about the bathroom. It's not terrible, but it's just small. In fact, if we were larger people, we would not have been able to get into the bathroom. The room is located upstairs, so it is already not meant for someone who can't do stairs - but - the bathroom door opens up less than 90 degrees because it hits the toilet upon opening. And the sink is in the way from walking straight in. The shower is a normal size, but the space itself is really small.
Lastly - the PARKING - or, the lack of parking. We arrived around 4p, and there was nowhere. The lot has 8 spots, the Inn has 12 rooms. We were told to park on the road, but no spots. If you arrive after sunset, the street will have space for you (or before 8a).
