Charmant hôtel en bois de taille raisonnable en haut de la colline permettant de profiter de la superbe vue sur le massif des Tatras. Le petit-déjeuner personnalisé (en raison de la faible fréquentation à cette époque de l'année) a littéralement rempli la table. La chambre était spacieuse toujours dans le style montagnard propre à la région. Le petit moins, le personnel s'exprimant en polonais, quelques mots peuvent être utiles sinon, on se comprend facilement avec les mains.

For one night stay it was good. We had a room with a great view. However our stay was booked for 5 nights so we were very disappointed to find on arrival that there was a mix up with Expedia and we didn’t have a booking. We were subsequently moved to another hotel nearby.

The hotel hardware is good (nice terrace with beautiful views to the mountain, great food at the restaurant, overall well maintained), but the software component is quite bad (terribly understaffed - one sole person is receptionist both to the hotel and restaurant, waiter, andhousekeeper any given day). The owner had a remarkable lack of hospitality, refusing simple needs such as one additional pillow (we were 4 people but only 3 pillows) or turning off the light when my kid was playing in the restaurant's kids corner while we were having dinner. When asking why my room was not cleaned, the answer was that it was, even when the beds were undone and dirty glasses had not been taken away. I asked for it to be cleaned the next day and I faced contempt, even when this is not an apartment, but a full service hotel. Overall, they made us feel as we were an inconvenience. I would not recommend staying here.

Extraordinary location, traditional architecture with an amazing view of the Tatra mountains. Traditional polish food with an added culinary finess. I would certainly recommend this place and hope to come back soon. Particular mention to the staff, they were very helpful and friendly.

Took money for booking , I wanted to change days and reached out to them on numerous occasions and absolutely nothing from customer services, really disappointed. Would not recommend. Will seek refund when originally all I wanted was to change dates as I was unfit to travel . Shame on them .

Bad Experience!

I talked to the owner, Kamil before my arrival to ascertain that I would get what I paid for. Specifically, that the room as described was what I paid for. Specifically, a room with two double beds. He assigned a room with one double bed and one with bunk beds! Unacceptable! We ended up with a room at the attic! The walls were angled in the rooms and uncomfortable to get around. The water pressure at the bathroom sink depicted more as if a leak rather than pressure! Unacceptable-shower was impossible with hardly any water pressure. Furthermore, the bedroom faced the east were the sunrise would wake you because there were no curtains! I do want to credit Jula, the receptionist. She was extremely pleasant. In summary, the cost of the room did not reflect the description and my request! By the way, the restaurant downstairs, part of the property was an expensive but the breakfast buffet that was included was fabulous. Last but not least, a very difficult place to find. The road (long driveway) to the hotel is extremely steep and in terrible shape!

mixed feelings

My wife and I stayed one week in early July 2024. We have had a very mixed experience at this place. First - the positive: The breakfast is really nice. There are some good options and a few things that change daily. The coffee is good. There are also fruits and vegetables. Unfortunately, the items are not replenished quickly, so if you come later, many items may not be available anymore. We made a point of always coming right when it opened. Also, the property looks charming and has a nice view of the mountains. Now a few things that really bothered us during our stay: There is no AC and also no fan available. The property is close to a busy street with near constant traffic. Many more hotels are being built so the traffic will increase even more. That means, you cannot open the windows toward the street due to noise. None of the windows have screens so flies and bugs come in when opened. The balconies of the units face each other, so privacy is limited. The bed was a European double, significantly smaller than a Queen and very uncomfortable. I felt the springs and didn't sleep well the whole week. The property is far from Zakopane. There is limited to no sidewalk. It is simply too dangerous to try to walk anywhere. We ended up renting a car in town for the whole week. There is no information in the room about things to do. The Wifi is abysmally slow. Overall, this place needs to drastically improve if it wants to attract international visitors.

Really great place up near the top of ski lifts. Easy to miss when driving there, but wonderful, scenic location. Outside deck overlooking the town in the valley below. Superb breakfast! Very nice staff.

Od 3 lat jeździmy do tego hotelu i co roku jest lepiej. W tym roku powiększyli taras z przepięknym widokiem na Tatry. Dla mnie wszystko bez jakiegokolwiek zarzutu. Wysoki standard usług. Bardzo dobre jedzenie, restauracja czynna do 22:00 - nie warto jeździć do centrum.

Wonderful stay

Very lovely room, only a few minutes drive into center of Zakopane. We were having a really hard time with our toddler and jet lag and the staff were extremely accommodating - they brought us a late dinner one night to our room and even served us lunch early in the restaurant. Lots to do in the area - hiking, horse carriage rides, hot bath spas, and delicious food.

Schönes Berghotel im der Nähe von Zakopane

Hotel ist ca. 10 Autominuten vom Zentrum in Zakopane entfernt und liegt auf einer Anhöhe. Perfekte Ausgangslage für direkte Touren zu Fuß zum Berg Gubalowka. Die Zimmer sind sehr liebevoll eingerichtet aus einer Mischung von Tradition und Moderne. Unser Doppelzimmer war allerdings ziemlich klein mit vielen Dachschrägen, was für 2 Personen über 1,80m nicht wirklich komfortabel war. Zimmer waren sehr sauber und es wurde täglich Wasser angeboten. Restaurant und das Essen können wir sehr empfehlen. Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich mit vielen lokalen Spezialitäten und alles frisch zubereitet. Auch das Abendessen war sehr gut und eine gute Alternative, falls man abends nicht mehr nach Zakopane zum Essen fahren möchte. Personal im Restaurant war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das hätten wir uns bei der Ankunft im Hotel auch gewünscht. Die Begrüßung war sehr kühl und man hat keinerlei Informationen bekommen, sondern musste sich alles erfragen.
