Truly oustanding views, great location nice room and one of the comfiest beds(4 poster room 23) ive slept in tbf, but couple of minor things that need addressing to make it a 5*, small light in bathroom doesn't work, shower is poor and wonky toilet seat, but would i stay again, definitely and try and book the larger room downstairs with the 4 poster.

Lovely seaside location high on the cliff so quite a walk down and back if you are in any way handicapped. The hotel itself didn't have any elevator or people to help with luggage. Two curved staircases make it difficult even for younger people. Again not the best place if you are any way handicapped. Views from our room were lovely.

The suite room was perfect with kids, because it has two separate bedrooms. Lovely view from the room. Good location and the breakfast was nice - lots of choices! The only downside was that check-in was quite confusing. We arrived early to drop our bags before check-in, which has never been a problem in any other hotel I've stayed at, but the staff seemed surprised and at first said there was nowhere to leave them. They were still helpful and found a way but it seemed complicated. And then when we came back later to check in properly nobody was there - there was a sign on the door saying we should have gotten a code to open the door by email or Expedia message but I didn't. And I didn't have phone signal in town so had to walk quite a way away to check my email (only to find no email). The Expedia page says that staff will be there check you in so that should be updated. And anyone staying there should just check your email before you arrive and if you don't have check in instructions, contact them in advance. We got there in the end and had a nice stay - it was just a bit annoying!

Had a lovely stay. The communication about getting the keys and checking in was great. The staff was super friendly. The room was spotless with beautiful sea views. The location was excellent. There was a great selection for breakfast. Highly recommend.

Room 21 - City view, with unexpected partial sea view which was an added bonus. Clean room, sheets and shower room. Modern decor. Great location. Full breakfast sealed the deal. Would stay again.

It was a great location on the Esplanade. Entry was self-service check-in. The booking stated ocen views and breakfast included. The breakfast was great but we were advised that breakfast was not included as though there was a dispute with Expedia and the room had an ocean glimpse.

Self check in, they emailed details before hand with clear instructions. Room was a reasonable size, plenty of storage,, an excellent tea tray. The shower/toilet was quit small but it's an old building so to be expected. The room and bathroom were clean and well maintained. The linen was clean and fresh. The bed was, oh, so comfy! Good blinds meant we slept till the alarm went off. Breakfast was basic but adequate for the price we paid. A selection of cereals, bread, jams etc., plus a selection off the menu, which was well cooked and presented. Handy for the beach and shops. I'm sure we'll stay again!

Cheap and cheerful is the best compliment I can give. Friendly front of house lady. The room and en-suite was clean. But in general, everything is just a bit tired. I would stay again for the price we paid. No car parking on site so we used the Five Arches car park which was £15 for 24hrs.

Dirty carpets, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned or changed in years. Had to climb over the toilet to get into the shower. One small bottle of water for two people which was very strange. Advertised as with free breakfast but was refused this. Saw house keeping put all clean towels and sheets on dirty carpets outside bedroom door and not use a trolley, disgusting!

The couple who run this hotel are lovely and the cleaner is also lovely. The hotel is perfectly located with stunning views of the beach and sea (completely uninterrupted) and moments away from the heart of the Tenby. The rooms were clean and the towels were crisp. My only issue was the water pressure for the shower and the bath had jets but didn’t work. Once the hotel bathrooms get updated this will be the hotel to come to.

Location great. Accommodation poor walls so thin I could hear the man next door going to the toilet. Kettle did not work. Bedding stained and no lights in the bathroom. Emailed the staff about breakfast included in the price as that is what was advertised and that is what I paid for however their response was rude and blamed Hotels.com.

There is no on-site parking, so be prepared for a short walk from wherever you manage to park. If you’re lucky you may find a free space as we did, although it wasn’t easy to locate one in the dark somewhere unfamiliar. There are paid car parks nearby, though I’m not sure about the rates or exact distances. Either way, expect around a 10-minute walk, which isn’t ideal when carrying luggage in the rain. The hotel operates a self check-in system, which I actually preferred. Two days before arrival I received both a text and an email with clear instructions for accessing the building and our room. The process was very straightforward and easy to follow. We arrived in the dark and initially all the lights were off, and we struggled to find some of the switches. As we were staying on the top floor it took a bit of figuring out, but nothing major. The room itself was clean and tidy, which for me is the most important thing in a hotel stay. The general facilities in the room were good. However, being on the top floor meant we had a sloped ceiling directly above the head of the bed, so you couldn’t really sit up without bumping your head. The bed also took up most of the room, which made moving around a little tricky. Perhaps a bit nit-picky, but I’m quite tall so it was noticeable. On the first night there was barely any water coming out of the tap, it was literally just a trickle. We were still able to have a shower, although the pressure wasn’t great. By the following morning
