Galaxy rooms hit the sweet spot: sharp, clean, budget‑friendly spaces with everything you need just steps away

This place is horrible. Unwashed bedding, smoke smelling room. Very dirty. We walked out and booked to a big hotel 2 km away.

Stayed in Room 223 while visiting for the Cold Lake Air Show and had a memorable stay overall. The staff were very accommodating and brought us extra towels when we needed them. Adequately clean. The bed was comfortable and sheets very clean. The AC was operating but had very limited cooling capacity. It provided some cooling locally, but failed to reasonably cool the room even when left running. We ended up buying three fans to stay comfortable and were often hit with waves of heat. I wonder if 223 being directly above a suite marked LAUNDRY contributed to the heat. A couple of other items could use some repairs as well. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the friendly service. Adequate AC would greatly improve guests’ experience, and it would be the main factor in deciding to return.

The Room was nothing close to what the photos show. The only thing good about this experience would be the friendly guy at the reception. The rooms were not clean. Shower curtains had mold on corners, bedding had stains, fridge was broken trims and almost gave a deep cut. The room felt very claustrophobic. AC fan gets covered by oversized curtains. Room 114

The Galaxy Motel provided a safe clean bed to sleep for my 3 nights in St. Paul. The price was definitely right, especially in 2024. My stay was memorable.

Clean sheets, great pillows, Warm comforter. Great towels. For the price and the location, I cannot and will not complain. Life is good.

Floors and window sil could be cleaned a bit better and needed some tile work in the bathroom. Otherwise it was a decent stay, the bed was comfortable, the shower had lots of pressure. The motel is on the same block as a 7-11. Ok for a cheap stay. <$90 via expedia.

It’s a run down facility but for price and convenience it fits what I was looking for. Done bring a princess but if you need a good nights sleep it was perfect.
