Room was clean and tidy and to be honest was better than I expected! Only issue was lack of places to sit except on the bed (but it was a budget hotel) and as the windows were so high you couldn’t open the curtains which meant a lack of natural light. We’d stay again and will definitely be back when we visit our daughter again,

My review reflects what others have said. The reception staff are really lovely, they are polite and friendly. The property is nice and quiet. The location was excellent and a short walk to tube stations. There are bookable carparking slots, expensive but parking anywhere in London will be expensive. However our room was tired and needed a refresh. The had obviously been a flood in the bathroom and the linoutside was water damage

Nice location, near tube station but just off the main road with a quiet ambience, the staff were super helpful and friendly. The room was great, perfect amenities for a very self-sufficient traveller on a one-night stopover. I'm happy to recommend Arch Hotel.

Reception lady was lovely and couldn't be more helpful..room was lovely and big and clean but mattress was horrific!! Springs were making pinging noises and every time we turned over a new one stuck in your side. The air conditioner through out black dust all over the white sheets and pillows..such a shame because the room and people were lovely

Absolutely disgusting no ac working cracked floor boards dirt marks all over bed sheets and curtains table has mould on i have taken pictures and videos sent to expedia and the hotel directly no response at all stay away i stayed in may 30th 2026 it was 28 degrees that night they had no ac working and gave me the worst experience ever

Appalling Experience – Bed Bugs and Poor Customer Service I would not recommend this accommodation, particularly to families with disabled or medically vulnerable guests. At 10pm, my eldest daughter discovered multiple large bed bugs crawling across the sheet beneath the duvet. We have geo-tagged photographs as evidence. We immediately complained but were told there were no alternative rooms and that the hotel had no problem with bed bugs. We had no choice but to leave. At 11.30pm, we were packing and desperately searching for alternative accommodation. This was particularly distressing as my disabled daughter has a low immune system, and we needed accessible facilities and parking. We eventually found another hotel 25 miles away, arriving at 1am, far from the area we needed to be in on Sunday morning. Before arrival, I had sent two messages asking about parking after being advised to pre-book. Neither received a reply. Although our accessible accommodation request was accommodated, the apartment had unlit stairs, badly worn flooring and stained carpets. Hotels.com was the one positive. Its online chat team was fantastic, handling our complaint professionally and arranging a full refund, expected within 7–10 days. However, a refund cannot compensate for the distress, lost sleep, disruption and additional travel. Finding multiple bed bugs was unacceptable, and the hotel’s response offered no reassurance. Would I return? Absolutely not.

Max was helpful on check-in as he was able to resolve an issue with the remote for the TV. Bathroom looking newly refurbished with lovely hot shower. Carpets, decoration and furnishings generally need a deep clean and / or refurbishment but for the money in London, the room was tidy with good Internet TV speed.

They do not do breakfast which is the only issue but there are several options within 200 yards so no problem. very clean, modern, spacious rooms, helpful staff and easy parking (£20)

Avoid - ants on bed and in room

There ants in our room. When we told reception they said that “it’s okay” and they had put gel in the walls to attract them and that they didn’t want to disturb us. The ants were all over the bed.

Checking in I was shocked at how little effort it was. There were people crowded in the lobby. One guy was changing his shirt and others were either sitting around or going through their bags. I was given room #202 which is on the 2nd floor ( no elevator) and the only nice thing is that there is only one other room up the steps. 1st impression: filthy filthy hallways and walls. There were suitcases all over by the stairs because it’s the “suitcase storage” area. No one was watching them and anyone at any point could have taken the wrong bag. Upon walking into the room I smelled musty wetness. Steps in I saw the water running down the wall from the AC which has not only damaged the wall but also the floor. When stepping from the bedroom area to the bathroom the floor was spongy with wetness seeping up. I immediately went to the front desk where the gal rolled her eyes and told me there were no other rooms. Obviously staff know about the damage/ health and safety issue but don’t care. I turned off the AC and opened up the windows to get as much fresh air in as possible. There are no hair dryers in the room but on day 2 I was able to get one from the front desk. There is a tea kettle and instant tea/ coffee but no silverware/ stir sticks. The room was filthy all around but the bed was surprisingly comfortable ( or maybe I was exhausted and didn’t notice otherwise ).

Hard to say anything good.

Sorry but this place is Filthy. Sticky floors and dirty everywhere. Flooring was likely the worst of any hotel I’ve ever stayed. Had a kitchenette and everything was dirty. Everything in the room was worn out. Bare wires hanging down in bathroom, furniture that was also worn out. To add and not inconsequential, the staff were on the phone shouting at 6am meaning everyone was woken up.

Charming from the outside, it’s reasonably clean on the inside. One thing stops me from ever staying again is the noise from the room above. The furniture is unstylish and dated, so though plenty of character on the external, the internal is astonishingly mismatched and old. The bed was ok, the kitchen ok, too. The nicest bit was the tiled, heated bathroom floor, which was a surprise considering the floor in the rest of the room comprised of chipped, stick-on laminate flooring. But it’s the noise from above that is a deal-breaker. They need to carpet or install sound-proofing.
