Convenient and Clean Hotel
It was relaxing and cosy stay. Hotel staff very friendly. Transport provided to Train Station and Tam Sui Lao Jie. Bicycle are provide if you prefer to cycle to the wharf or within the vicinity. Really nice vacation.

Overall a pleasant stay
This hotel is good for leisure travelers. The location is near river mouth to the sea. If you get a room with water view, it is beautiful. This hotel is $170 taxi from Tanshui Train Station and $1300 from TPE airport while train is very cheap and also very fast to go Taipei.

Not bad
It's a local boutique hotel so I wasn't expecting tour groups but they actually cater to groups from PRC and a guest on our floor was smoking in the room which affected ours badly. We borrowed an air cleaner from the hotel, they promptly brought us one but it was an ozoniser which some may be allergic too. The room was ok for an overnight stay, we took a quad room with the kids and the had a jacuzzi which was a perk. There are some food joints a block away and they all close around 9-10pm. The evening frontdesk service was lukewarm, but the housekeeping lady who chatted with us at the lobby and later brought us the air cleaner and the older gentleman at the front desk in the morning were both very friendly.

Decent hotel
The double bed was actually two bed pushed together with a large sheet. Made sleeping next to my wife difficult. Waking up as the two beds would dig into our backs as we slept. The breakfast was a good mix of western and chinese food. The breakfast staff were excellent at making sure everything was taken care of and helping everyone with needs.
