Zawadi House provides personal services and the kindness of the staff is unmatched. The grounds are beautiful, with tea in the garden each evening being a relaxing highlight of our stay. Breakfast was wonderful. The location is close to Arusha city center and any other activities you have in mind. We would definitely stay here again, and recommend giving Zawadi House try when you visit the area.

This is a very basic hotel, located in a very residential area of Arusha. You will need a car to get anywhere. The hotel is more basic than what it looks in the pictures; however, the staff is great. Super helpful. The food was proper Tanzanian food which was delicious and the place feels like being in a Tanzanian home. No pool, no big restaurant, basic rooms that could do with some updating but the staff and the gardens are great. It was great for us for 1 night after finishing our safari and before going to Zanzibar. It is a place to rest without much

Comfortable hotel in Arusha

The hotel was very nice with nice rooms and a good atmosphere and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast and diner were good. Definitely a good place to start or rest from your safari.

Fantastic stay!

Wonderful place and fantastic food. We had to find a place to stay before an early AM flight and they were even able to arrange for a 4AM transfer to the airport. Highly recommended!

The grounds and common areas at the Zawadi House are absolutely beautiful, So peaceful and green. The rooms are average but definitely comfortable. Additionally the breakfast was great and included a small buffet of starters plus made to order eggs, etc. we enjoyed our 1 night stay here (before our safari) very much m.

Clara was so helpful and kind. Breakfast was great. We felt safe and well taken care of. Laundry service was affordable and fast. Zawadi House is a great value for the money. The rooms and bathrooms are due for some updates, but overall we enjoyed our stay.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. They let us check out late than usual. They even warm up our food from the outside restaurants to take with us for lunch. They went out of their way to help us. I would not hesitate to book there again if I am in town.

The staff were very accommodating especially Clara and Regina. They went out of their way to store our leftovers from outside restaurant in their refrigerator and warm up our for next day lunch. They stored our extra luggage for a whole week while we traveled to other cities. We can not say thanks enough to them.

OUTSTANDING

My wife and I had a great stay at the Zawadi house. We were met at the reception by Yvonne, Nicholas, and Afti. We felt welcomed instantly. They did everything they could to make her stay comfortable and succeeded at every turn. I highly recommend this hotel and it's staff. If I get back to Arusha I will certainly stay there again.

The host Joseph is very friendly and helpful. The property is very safe, presentable and quiet. Room is large with good storage, comfy bed & functional ensuite. Breakfast is excellent and service genuine and obliging. To get there you drive down a dirt bumpy road, with many local shops. We didn't go into the neighbourhood as transport came to us. I recommend that you have a guide when venturing off in the area or city.

1 star motel. Ratings are bogus

Property is run down. It’s not what it looks like in the pictures. Also the reviews for this property appears to be bogus. In the USA this property would get a 1 star rating. No microwave or refrigerator in the room. Plus points are good service, clean and safe room

Wir waren für eine Nacht vor der Safari im Zawadi House. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön, sicher abgegrenzt und hat ein schönes kulturelles Flair! Das Essen war gut und preislich in Ordnung und grosse Portionen. Die Angestellten sind sehr scheu und ruhig aber jederzeit sehr freundlich. Wie alles in Arusha, war die Unterkunft etwas abgelegen und keine Restaurants in der Umgebung. Als wir um 14.00 Uhr ankamen, gab es im Hotel leider keine Möglichkeit um zu essen und wir mussten ein Tuktuk nehmen, welches uns 15 Min. zum nächsten Restaurant gebracht hat. War nicht schlimm, aber wir hätten es geschätzt, nach einer langen Reise im Hotel etwas kleines essen zu können. Ansonsten war alles top und wir empfehlen die Unterkunft gerne weiter!
