OK for the price

The breakfast was great - lovely dining room We were given a top floor room - essentially an attic conversion which was difficult to get up to with narrow stairs. Judging by the number of guests other rooms must surely have been available. The shower had black mould around the edges and corners which was surprising as the room and en suite seemed quite newly refreshed.

My second stay here, lovely room, easy drive to Cromer, right beside Overstrand beach which is amazing. Had several meals in the restaurant (including breakfast) and all was excellent. Will likely return next year.

Absolutely lovely night at the White Horse, clean and comfortable with lovely staff. Best of all dogs are welcome in the rooms with no additional charge, such a refreshing change. Breakfast was great and all this a stones throw from the beach. Will definitely be back!

Nice clean hotel. Good for people with dogs. Breakfast and service was good. Would be good to include a shower cap in the bathroom. Our room was very small, however the hotel was fully booked and luck of the straw I guess. Close to the promenade and sea cafe.

Staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Food was very nice and well presented. Restaurant was nice and clean with a nice ambience. Room could do with sprucing up a bit and a better standard of cleaning, spiders in corners, bathroom a bit shabby, pillows quite hard. TV didn't work but they found a spare one for us. We enjoyed our stay but there's room for improvement.

Short stay was long enough

Wasp nest just below room window. Manager dealt with it swiftly. Bar and dining room staff very good. Food very good. King sized bed was two singles pushed together with very uncomfortable mattresses. Overall, a very average and underwhelming hotel.
