Jan was very welcoming.We stayed for 2 nights. The apartment we stayed in was spacious, clean and warm. The bed was very comfortable. There is all you need in the kitchen to self cater if you want to. Harrogate centre is within walking distance - we didnt use our car during our stay. I would completely recommend staying here.

Would stay again. parked as instructed at Arden House B&B. There are limited spaces and very tight access, but the owner spotted us arriving and helped us out, sorting us out a slightly bigger space by moving some cones which was much appreciated. You can get a permit to park on the road, although we didn't need this. I think we would not have had trouble finding space. Very friendly when greeting us and walked us to the apartment. The block isn't really accessible: steps into the front garden, no lift inside. We were on the top floor. The apartment was a tired but was clean and served us fine. The bedroom was quite small but fine. The bed was large and comfortable but duvet wasn't the correct size which meant fights for covers. The namesake of the apartment was the big stargazer bedroom velux window, but if you leave this open all day you will end up with a bed full of grit that comes in! Amenities were pleanty of towels, hand soap bars, shampoo, shower gel, tea, coffee, milk, washing up liquid, and much appreciated biscuits. The kitchen also had a small fridge and freezer. Generally quiet apart from weekday construction nearby. very quick walk to town. I reported a trickling toilet cistern on the way out so hopefully not a future issue. No hand soap in kitchen, no kitchen hand towel, would be good to see soap and toiletries in big bottles in both bathroom and kitchen rather than single use. More plug sockets!

Highly recommend. I was upgraded to the 2 bed apartment which was beautiful. Parking was great. Property was peaceful despite being near to the town centre. Everything you could need. Will be rebooking.

Fantastic stay!

Met on arrival. Parking immediately sorted. The apartment is fantastic: very clean and comfortable. Lots of restaurants and shops within short walking distance. Mark was very welcoming and gave us excellent, child-friendly advice for activities and places to visit. I would definitely recommend visiting Harrogate and using this apartment for your stay.

Get busy cleaning !!!

The photograph shown was not apartment we were allocated. The apartment is not at the address on the information - this is a B&B, the apartment is actually sited few doors down the street. On arrival the smell of cooking cabbage was very obvious, very off putting. The down stairs passageway floor is really dirty - as is the carpet throughout the apartment. The bath has a dirty scum circle and the shower cabinet tray has a complete black fungus surround. Issues with dud light bulbs were resolved by the owner, unfortunately it did not resolve the lack of over all lighting. The address is very convenient for the actual town center. We were offered a daily service facility - this service would not have resolved the necessity for a top to bottom 'deep clean' .

Birthday Long Weekend

We spent a long weekend here in early December. The apartment was near enough for an easy walk to the town centre, but quiet enough for a good night's sleep. Comfortable, pleasant stay for 3 nights. Lovely friendly and helpful hosts. Everything catered for the in kitchen and adequate storage space in the bedroom. Will will definitely be going back for another stay next year.
