New hotel with very well-appointed and very beautiful rooms in a Hanok style (Korean house). I especially liked the corner sofa/table setting - great for working and eating. Beautiful property including lobby. Excellent soap/conditioner. The hotel is situated in a very convenient and central location. Staff is willing to help, motivated and kind.
There are many unusual amenities (i.e. free whisky in the evening), but it was not always clear how to benefit from them.
Downsides:
- Odd details: Hot water kettle in room, but no coffee/tea and not even a cup to brew your own coffee. Aircon not able to be turned off. No breakfast available only in adjacent restaurant with limited offering.
- Maintenance: Sewage smell in toilet every morning, on floor as well. Water pressure in shower not good (it was only dripping).
- Staff, although very willing and kind, are untrained for international guest hosting. I.e. organising taxi service, or printing an invoice
Overall, the nice room and excellent location win and I would come again, but hope they would address the downsides.
