Casa Cuseni was an extraordinary experience! Maria was amazing, arranging our private boat tour and the beach club, which we truly enjoyed. She also runs an incredible tour of the house, telling beautiful stories about how Cuseni lived there and who his guests were: Picasso, Hemingway, and many others. The property is extraordinary, with the most amazing views of the ocean, the town, and Mount Etna. The house has beautiful gardens and art, and the breakfast was amazing, with great views. Sending ♥️

I cannot stop thinking about my stay here! Made my time in Taormina that much more special. The grounds and hotel were magical, the staff were all very nice and helpful and the views were incredible. We used the pool which was great in the heat and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast everyday, which felt like a home-made meal. I highly reccomend this hotel to those looking for a unique hotel experience, not just as somewhere to stay but a space to immerse yourself in art and history. Francesco was an incredibly lovely host, and was surrounded by many lovely women helping keep this place running. We were just a 10 minute walk away from Corso Umberto, getting around was quite easy and straight forward.

We had a wonderful time staying@Casa Cuseni in last summer which made us another trip there in this summer. Breathtaking view of Mt.Ethna, rich history of arts, beautiful garden, and very nice and kind owner and staffs. The owner put their lots of passions and efforts to preserve them. Staying such a beautiful hotel gave us precious time. I spent most of time to relax at a pool side, reading "A house in Sicily by looking at Mt Ethna, hearing sounds of bells from churchs. We stayed @ Don Roberto room, spacious room on the top floor with beautiful scenery from the balcony. Location wise, it is only 5mn on foot to the Taormina's main street while atomosphere of Casa Cuseni is quiet. In additon to rareness and beauty of Casa Cuseni, we enjoyed our stay because the owner, and staffs were so kind, helped our stay to be best one. People of Casa Cuseni love there, thus we could also feel its beauty from their passions. Highly recommend.

Beautiful setting and room with a stunning view from the terrace. The most unique place I’ve ever stayed full of history and beautiful things. Take the tour it’s an amazing story. Don’t expect modern sanitised luxury, but if you want a place you’ll remember there can’t be many better. Maria on front desk a perfect host, we will be back, thank you!

Casa Cuseni is a UNESCO Intangible Heritage. We had a wonderful time staying there in summer of 2025, and decided to come back our trip to Sicily to stay Casa Cuseni in this summer too. Breathtaking view of Mt, Ethna, Casa Cuseni has rich history of arts, beautiful garden, community where famous artists, writers and many others stayed. after a century, you can see and feel those since the owner put lots of passion to preserve those well. Staying such a beautiful estate gave us precious time. We spent most of time (6 nights this summer) staying at a pool side reading books, esp "A House in Sicily" by looking at Mt. Ethna, hearing sounds of bells from churchs. Location wise, you can feel very quiet and rekaxed even it is only 5mn on foot to a main street of Taormina. In addition of its rareness and beauty of Casa Cuseni, we enjoyed the stay because the owener and staffs were so good people and kind to us. they were always very cheerful who made our stay as happy one, People of Casa Cuseni love there, and have passion to support their guests. Highly recommed Casa Cuseni.

Belle maison historique

What a unique experience staying at a property like that, the history and beauty of the place is extraordinary. The gardens were so beautiful and relaxing with the smell of the jasmine flowers. The views of Etna and the sea were so amazing. The breakfast in the morning was so delicious. The staff and the owners so attentive, we even got a private tour of the museum. The location was fantastic near everything. I would highly recommend this place don’t hesitate book, so relaxing and beautiful! An experience to cherish in Taormina!

Historical charm and comfort some steps up...

Casa Cuseni is not a traditional hotel, but a mix of museum, residence and albergo boutique situated just some (dozen) steps from Porta Catania. It may not be for everyone, but it suited me quite well. The room is large, the furniture is as historical as the building itself, the bed is comfortable, linen and towels are of superior quality, and it seems like you grandma house, with an atmosphere a bit twisted. I loved my stay; the views are amazing, and my room had an enormous terrace which offered me the Etna all day long. If you are not looking for a chain hotel, and you like different places to stay, and you don't mind climbing some steps two or three or four times a day, Casa Cuseni may be the place for you. Last thing: there is a new pool available... enjoy!
