The carpets in hall were not vacuumed the entire time we stayed. There was trash both nights in the hall. Never moved or picked up. The carpet in bedroom was dirty, my 10 year old took a shower and walked barefoot in the room and his feet were black from dirty carpet before he went to bed. Had to have him wash his feet and wear crocs while in the room.

Hotel had only been opened a week and didn’t appear as if they were ready to open. Construction debris still outside the front entrance when we arrived. Elevator was down upon check in. No soap in the room and only two total towels. My husband went down and upon the third inquiry finally was able to get soap. Trash wasn’t emptied in our room from the previous occupants and it was full. Breakfast the next morning they kept running out of coffee which I get but they didn’t have back up just took the container to brew it in so there was nothing for 20 minutes. Needs to work on getting proper procedures in place for basic operations.

Looks like it was a new property and everything was clean and well maintained. We may have been the first to ever use the pull out bed in the room as the factory instruction sheet was still tucked in there. My only real complaint was that for the size and layout of the bathroom, the toilet could have been behind a door so two people could use the bathroom at the same time.

Great hotel that accommodated my family of five comfortably. Clean room, great included breakfast, and a nice outdoor area to relax after a full day at Cedar Point, which is only 15 minutes away.

I think this hotel might be having problems With housekeeping staff. There were no large bath towels when we got in the room. The hallway seemed like it was not regularly vacuumed. The indoor pool was too small to even be useful. I expected more considering the price and Marriot’s point policy is a bit unfair. They got paid for the room, but because it was booked through hotels.com, they won’t give points.

The facilities were very clean. Of course it was the first day after opening and I was the 2nd customer ever. The staff was extremely pleasant as well. By problem was the AC didn’t work very well. Seems like they haven’t worked out some issues there yet. And another small gripe. The bathroom door design is poor. It’s a big sliding door with no lock. Hard to keep a 2 year old from opening it while others are showering or using the restroom.
