It seems like the Highliner Suites is a work in progress, possibly under new ownership, and it has a lot of potential.
The biggest positive was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which made our stay enjoyable. There is still quite a bit of construction happening, so expect some noise during the day, but it didn’t take away too much from the overall experience.
Once the renovations are complete and everything is fully operational, I could easily see this becoming a 4 star, or even a 5 star, property. There are just a few finishing touches that would make a big difference, such as improving the light that comes through under the room doors, updating the carpeting and some of the appliances, and making the room doors easier to open and close.
Overall, we had a good stay and appreciated the excellent customer service. I’m excited to see what this place looks like once all the work is finished.
